POWERED TRAILER SYSTEMS
The present disclosure is directed generally to powered trailer systems and, more particularly, to powered trailer systems for opening and closing trailer doors at, e.g., a vehicle loading dock, and to vehicle and/or trailer power delivery and charging systems. A powered trailer door operating system can include a guide track having a lower guide track portion and an upper guide track portion; a drive support coupled to the upper guide track portion having a drive shaft positioned within a central cavity; and a carriage slidingly coupled to the drive support and operably coupled to the trailer door. The carriage can be operably engaged with the drive shaft through the slot such that rotation of the drive shaft causes the carriage to translate along the drive support, thereby moving the trailer door between the open and closed positions.
TILTING DOOR SYSTEM, METHOD AND DEVICE
A tilt-up door for a building having a relatively wide door opening having a door panel including top and bottom horizontal members and vertical side members connected to the top and bottom horizontal members. The vertical side members each include a pivot point, affixed to pivot translation points which move upward or downward when an actuator is activated, such that first and second cams, each connected to one of the at least two vertical side members of said tilt-up door, each affixed at its lower aspect to each side member at a position at or slightly above the center point of the door frame, and each cam extending upwardly and arcuately toward the interior of the building, to a point in space where said cam contacts a cam follower extended inwardly at approximately a right angle with respect to both the adjacent top horizontal members of the door frame, and to the Support Structure or stile to which it is fixed at its proximate end, thereby guiding the door as it is moved between its substantially open substantially horizontal position, and to be lowered into its substantially vertical substantially closed position. Each pivot translation point is lifted or lowered by means of an actuator, such as a screw, chain or hydraulic system, depending upon the needs of the user or environment, which causes the door to open or close. The door panel contains an integral track or cam which is substantially elliptical having a radius such that each integral track rides on a stationary roller which allows the panel to tilt into position. The actuation system is mounted on or in columns on either side of the door to allow the door to move into the various open and closed positions.
LIFT GATES AND RELATED CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A gate system and related control systems and methods include a frame assembly and a tracking assembly coupled to the frame assembly. A door is in mechanical communication with the frame assembly. Related methods for operating a gate of a gate system, where the gate is set to manual mode to manually open or close the gate. Additionally, control systems include a fail-safe programmable logic controller (PLC) circuit for controlling the gate for opening and closing a gate that employs redundant fail-safe features. The control system includes a safety PLC circuit having a PLC including a first input terminal and a second input terminal, and a light curtain switch electrically coupled to the first and second input terminals.

A PACKAGE RECEIVING AND RETURNING DEVICE
A package receiving and returning device for fitting to a sloping roof/building. The device has a storage cavity with an opening, a frame bounding the opening and a displaceable cover arranged in the frame which displaces from a closed first position wherein the opening is sealed thereby preventing access to the storage cavity, to an open second position which permits access to the storage cavity. A sensor detects presence of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). A verification system verifies a designated UAV for a requested delivery or collection. An automated mechanism displaces the cover between the first and second positions when activated upon detection of the verified UAV to allow a payload to be delivered into, or retrieved from, the storage cavity. The automated mechanism positions the cover to define an entrance that corresponds to the features of the UAV and/or a payload to be received/returned, and/or environmental conditions.
Door System
The invention relates to a door system (1) comprising a door (2) and two lateral guide elements (4, 5), wherein the door (2) comprises multiple slat elements (6) which are connected to one another and can be detached from one another, and which are arranged orthogonal to the guide elements (4, 5) and can be guided in the guide elements (4, 5), and a drive device (8) is provided for opening and/or closing the door(2), wherein the door (2) can be lowered and/or raised for opening and/or closing and can be lowered into a box (9) for opening, and the individual slat elements (6) are arranged next to one another inside the box (9) in an open state of the door (2). The drive device (8) is a cable pulley system (10) which can be driven by a horizontal drive spindle (11) and wherein a cable (12) of this pulley system (10) is connected to at least one slat element (6) in the vertical direction (V).

Movable latch housing apparatus
A movable latch housing apparatus and method of installation for enhancing security of a latch mechanism that has a channel with a linear drive that is removably engagable to a slidable engagement structure with a shoulder that is pivotally attached through an arm to a door for automated opening and closing, with a lever that can selectably disengage the slidable engagement structure from the linear drive to allow the door to open freely. The apparatus includes a base and a pair of opposing sidewalls each extending in a same direction perpendicular to and straddling the base and attach to the shoulder, the sidewalls extend beyond the base forming an open ended slot for arm movement. Wherein operationally, the base and the sidewalls shield the lever from unauthorized access to help prevent disengagement of the lever from the linear drive which would allow the door to be freely opened.
