In a closed position, the inner door element is arranged in a first region of the access opening which is situated lower than a second region in which the outer door element is arranged. In an open position, the inner and the outer door element are arranged in a third region of the access opening which is situated higher than the first and the second region. Furthermore, the door apparatus has a locking element and a coupling element.

The shower room includes an upper rail and a lower rail, a fixed glass, a primary shower glass and a secondary shower glass. The lower rail is correspondingly provided at the secondary shower glass. A sliding block unit is installed on the secondary shower glass. The sliding block unit includes a fixed portion, a sliding groove and a guidance sliding portion. The fixed portion is provided correspondingly to the secondary shower glass. The sliding groove is used for receiving the primary shower glass to form a linkage. The guidance sliding portion is glidingly engaged with the lower rail. The linkage shower room has a simple structure which can be easily manufactured.

The sidelite and slide panels are configured to pivot out of the header into a breakout configuration.

Additionally, the profile of the sill is lowered so that a portion of the flanges of the glazing pocket of the lower sash visibly extend above the sill.
