SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MOVABLE BARRIER OPERATION AT A SECURED PREMISES
In one aspect, a method is provided for controlling access to a facility including a movable barrier and a plurality of loading docks. The method includes receiving, from a user device associated with a vehicle, a check-in communication that includes a check-in identifier. The method includes receiving a verification communication that verifies a presence of the vehicle relative to a sensor associated with the movable barrier. The method further includes causing a movable barrier operator associated with the movable barrier to move the movable barrier between closed and open positions in response to the check-in identifier indicating authorization to access the facility and in response to receiving the verification communication. Further, the method includes selecting a particular loading dock from the plurality of loading docks and communicating a loading dock identification representative of the particular loading dock to the user device to direct the vehicle to the particular loading dock.
HINGE ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A hinge assembly includes: a fixed supporting piece; a rotating assembly, movably connected with the fixed supporting piece and including a first limiting portion; and a locking mechanism, disposed on the fixed supporting piece and including a limiting piece which includes a second limiting portion matched with the first limiting portion. The fixed supporting piece slides relative to the rotating assembly in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the rotating assembly in a rotation process of the rotating assembly, so that the first limiting portion is connected with the second limiting portion or the first limiting portion is separated from the second limiting portion; when the first limiting portion is connected with the second limiting portion, the two limiting portions are matched with each other to limit rotation of the rotating assembly; when separated, limiting of the rotating assembly is released.
Lock for Slideable Fenestration
Disclosed herein is a fenestration assembly. The assembly includes a movable sash assembly, a first lock counterpart connected to the movable sash assembly, a fixed sash assembly, a second lock counterpart connected to the fixed sash assembly, and a sill configuration. While the fixed sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration, and while the movable sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration at a first height, the movable sash assembly is lockable to the fixed sash assembly. While the fixed sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration, and while the movable sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration at a second height, the movable sash assembly is lockable to the fixed sash assembly. While there is an absence of locking between the movable and fixed sash assemblies, the movable sash assembly is movable relative to the sill configuration.
FURNITURE DRIVE
A furniture drive including a housing to be arranged on a furniture panel, and an actuating arm assembly for moving the movable furniture part, and the actuating arm assembly includes an actuating arm movably-supported relative to the housing to be fixed to the movable furniture part. The actuating arm assembly is movable between a first relative position and a second relative position, and includes actuating arms pivotable relative to one another. A pivotal movement of the actuating arm assembly from the second relative position toward the first relative position can be blocked by a releasable blocking device including a movably supported blocking element movable between a blocking position and an unblocking position. A blocking element of the blocking device is supported on one of the actuating arms and includes an abutment bearing against a counter-abutment of the other of the actuating arms in the blocking position.
GLOVE BOX
A glove box includes a cover that is mounted in a dashboard of a vehicle in a state in which a front surface of the cover is open, a housing accommodated in a state in which an open surface thereof is covered by the cover and configured for selectively opening or closing the open front surface of the cover along a preset rotational trajectory, a plurality of transfer links that are arranged between first and second outer ends of the housing and first and second inner ends of the cover and transfer the housing along the preset rotational trajectory, and a damper that is connected between the cover and the transfer links and corrects a rotational force of the housing through length expansion/contraction.
System for facilitating access to a secured area
A movable barrier operator comprising a motor, communication circuitry configured to receive a control signal and communicate with a door lock associated with a passageway door, and a controller. The controller is configured to authenticate the control signal, wherein authenticating the control signal includes associating the signal with a first level of access or a second level of access. The controller is further configured to communicate with the door lock via the communication circuitry to permit opening of the passageway door in response to associating the control signal with the first level of access and inhibit opening of the passageway door in response to associating the control signal with the second level of access. The controller is configured to cause the motor to open the movable barrier regardless of association of the control signal with the first level of access or the second level of access.
Power window operators, windows and methods
Power window operators, windows including the power window operators, and methods of using the same are described herein. The power window operators may offer the ability to control the timing and/or speed of the lock/unlock motion relative to the open/close motions of the operator arm of the power window operator and, if provided, a sash being driven by the power window operator.
METHOD FOR OPERATING AN ASSEMBLY
A method for operating an assembly includes providing a furniture part which can be arranged by a furniture drive in at least two operating positions relative to a furniture body. In chronological order, a command transmitter spatially separated from the furniture drive transmits at least one digital command to a data transmission device of the furniture drive via the data transmission device of the command transmitter. A computing unit of the furniture drive compares the at least one digital command with at least one digital data set stored in a storage unit, and the computing unit makes a selection on the basis of the result of the comparison to carry out the at least one digital command.
Slide operator assemblies and components for fenestration units
Slide operator assemblies and components for fenestration units, as well as associated methods of manufacture and use thereof.
Drive assembly for driving a vehicle flap
A drive assembly, in particular for driving a flap (5), includes a hinge assembly (2), comprising a first hinge part (3) connectable to a vehicle body and a second hinge part (4) connectable to a vehicle flap (5), a joint assembly (7) comprising at least a first joint part (8) hingedly connecting said first hinge part (3) with said second hinge part (4) and a first actuator (10) for driving the second hinge part (4) to move between an opened and a closed position during a normal operation. The first actuator (10) has a first end (10a) coupleable to a vehicle body pivotally about a first pivot axis (P1) and a second end (10b). The drive assembly also includes a bearing element connected (16) to the first actuator (10) and a coupling assembly (14) for coupling the first actuator (10) to the hinge assembly (2), comprising a first coupling part (15) having a first end (15a) and a second end (15b). The first end (15a) of the first coupling part (15) is coupled to one of the second hinge part (4) and first joint part (8) pivotally about a second pivot axis (P2). The bearing element (16) of the first actuator (10) is coupled to the second end (15b) of the first coupling part (15) pivotally about a third pivot axis (P3) spaced apart from the second pivot axis (P2). The drive assembly provides a possibility to move a vehicle flap drivingly between a closed and an opened position and further provides a reliable pedestrian protection function.
