An appliance includes an outer cabinet having a front aperture for accessing a processing space. A door selectively engages the front aperture in a closed position to enclose the processing space. A hinge includes a cabinet mount attached to the outer cabinet and having a stop that defines an open position of the door. A hinge pin extends through the cabinet mount to define a rotational axis of the hinge. A sheet metal flange is press fit onto the hinge pin and is fixedly attached to the door. The sheet metal flange is wrapped around the hinge pin and is attached to the door via fasteners. The pin includes a protrusion that selectively engages the stop of the cabinet mount in the open position.

A flexible coupling and an actuator for shaft-driven structures are provided. The flexible coupling includes a first half coupling, a second half coupling and a flexible member connected between the first half coupling and the second half coupling. One end face of the flexible member is provided with at least two connection portions extending along the axial direction. The first half coupling includes a support portion configured to support the radially inner surface of each connection portion and first transmission portions configured to fill circumferential gaps between the connection portions. The second half coupling includes second transmission portions equal in number to the connection portions. The second transmission portions cover radially outer side surfaces of the connection portions in a one-to-one manner. The flexible coupling can prevent the flexible member from being disengaged from between the two half couplings during operation. The actuator includes the preceding flexible coupling.

The eartip body can include an inner eartip body having a sidewall extending between the interfacing end and the attachment end, the sidewall defining a channel and having a first thickness near the attachment end and a second thickness different from the first thickness at the interfacing end. The eartip can also include an attachment structure coupled to the inner eartip body at the attachment end, the attachment structure having an inner surface and an outer surface. The attachment structure can include an upper region interfacing with the sidewall and defining discrete through-holes, a lower region below the upper region where the inner surface defines a plurality of recesses positioned around the lower region, and a mesh extending across the channel and into the upper region.

According to examples, an apparatus may include a body on which a scanning surface is supported, a lid to cover the scanning surface, and a hinge to rotatably couple the lid to the body. In some examples, the apparatus may include a hinge support assembly disposed on the body. The hinge support assembly may include a first engagement member that may extend from the lid and a second engagement member that may extend from the body. The first engagement member may engage the second engagement member when the lid is in a certain position relative to the scanning surface. The first engagement member may contact the second engagement member to restrict a lateral movement of the lid relative to the hinge.

A hinge for a vehicle hood is provided. The hinge includes a hinge lower fixed to a vehicle body, and a hinge upper fixed to the hood and rotatably supported relative to the hinge lower. The hinge upper includes a first member rotatably supported relative to the hinge lower, and a second member fixed to the hood and relatively movable relative to the first member. The hinge further includes a first lock configured to be engageable with the first member to restrict rotation of the first member relative to the hinge lower. The first member and the second member are integrally rotatable relative to the hinge lower in a normal operation of opening and closing the hood. When the hood is caused to pop up, the first lock engages with the first member and the second member is relatively movable relative to the first member.
