Opening and closing body drive mechanism
An opening and closing body drive mechanism that drives an opening and closing body between an open position and a closed position; a drive unit to drive the opening and closing body; a detecting unit to detect movement of the opening and closing body; and a control unit to control driving of the opening and closing body. The control unit carries out a feedback control to control driving of the opening and closing body such that the movement of the opening and closing body, detected with the detecting unit, matches a predetermined target value when no abnormality occurs in the detecting unit or in wiring connecting the detecting unit and the control unit.
OPENING/CLOSING CONTROL DEVICE
An opening/closing control device includes: a current detecting unit that detects a current that flows in a motor; a voltage detecting unit that detects a voltage to be supplied to the motor; a load calculating unit that calculates a load applied during the opening/closing operation of a window, according to the detected current and detected voltage; a trap detecting unit that detects a trap of an object, the trap being caused by the window, according to the calculated load; and a motor control unit that, if a trap is detected, reverses the rotation of the motor. The load calculating unit calculates a load in which a first load component proportional to the detected current and a second load component proportional to the angular acceleration of the rotation of the motor, the angular acceleration being approximated according to the detected current and detected voltage, are combined together.
OVERHEAD DOOR OPERATOR SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a method at a control device (100) for controlling an overhead door operator system, the overhead door operator system (1) being configured for opening and closing an opening (2), and comprising a door frame (3) comprising a first frame section (4) at a first side (7) of the opening (2) and a second frame section (6) at a second side (5) of the opening (2). The operator system further comprises a door (8) arranged to be moved between an open and closed (C) position, the door (8) being movably connected to the door frame (3) and a drive unit (10) mounted on the door (8), the drive unit (10) comprising at least one motor (11) arranged to move the door (8) from the closed position (C) to the open position (O). An elongated transmission member (19) extends along the first side (7) of the opening (2) and the first frame section (4). The drive unit (10) further comprises a driven transmission member (18) in driving connection with the motor (11). The method comprises the steps of: detecting door movement; determining if detected door movement relates to unexpected door movement; and, if so, taking action so as to prevent more extensive damages. The disclosure further relates to an overhead door operator system for opening and closing an opening.
Drive arrangement for motor-operated adjustment of a closure element in a motor vehicle
Disclosed herein is a drive arrangement for motor-operated adjustment of a closure element in a motor vehicle having at least one drive with a drive motor, and a drive controller. The closure element can be driven in the motor-operated adjustment mode by the drive motor in the closing direction and in the opening direction between a closed and an open position. The drive is non-self-locking and has a sensor, in particular a Hall sensor, for sensing the drive movement. The drive controller monitors the sensor signals for a fault state, and when a fault state is sensed initiates an emergency braking and/or stop mode. The drive arrangement comprises two drives each with a sensor for determining the respective drive movement. To detect drive-fault-induced slamming shut of the closure element, the drive controller correlates the sensor signals of the two sensors, in particular compares said sensor signals.

The disclosure relates to a drive arrangement for movement of a tailgate, wherein at least one drive unit is provided, having two drive connections, wherein a first drive unit is motor and spring-operated and has a drive unit motor as well as a drive unit spring, respectively acting on the two drive connections associated with the first drive unit, wherein the first drive unit comprises a movement sensor, representing movement information regarding a movement between the drive connections, wherein a second drive unit is spring-operated and has a drive unit spring, acting on the two drive connections associated with the second drive unit, wherein a drive unit controller is provided, which detects a predetermined deviation of the sensor signal of the movement sensor from a predetermined normal signal corresponding to the normal condition as an error condition and upon detecting an error condition carries out an error routine.
Concealed electrical door operator
A door assembly includes a first door skin, a second door skin spaced apart from the first door skin and a door operator disposed between the first door skin and the second door skin. An arm extends from the door operator. The door operator includes a motor moving the arm to move the door between a closed position and an open position and between the open position and the closed position. A current sensor generates a current signal corresponding to the current to the motor. A position sensor in communication with the door arm generates a position signal corresponding to the position of the door relative to the frame. A controller communicates with the sensor and the motor. The controller controls a motor current to the motor in response to the current signal and the position signal.
CONCEALED ELECTRICAL DOOR OPERATOR
A door assembly includes a first door skin, a second door skin spaced apart from the first door skin and a door operator disposed between the first door skin and the second door skin. An arm extends from the door operator. The door operator includes a motor moving the arm to move the door between a closed position and an open position and between the open position and the closed position. A current sensor generates a current signal corresponding to the current to the motor. A position sensor in communication with the door arm generates a position signal corresponding to the position of the door relative to the frame. A controller communicates with the sensor and the motor. The controller controls a motor current to the motor in response to the current signal and the position signal.
WINDOW OPERATOR ASSEMBLIES AND DEVICES FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
An example window operator assembly comprises a motor, communication circuitry, and processor circuitry. The communication circuitry being configured to provide a first type of wireless communications and a second type of wireless communication with a first wireless communication system and a second wireless communication system. And, the processor circuitry being configured to identify connection loss between the communication circuitry and the first wireless communication system, and in response, cause the communication circuitry to switch to the second wireless communication system and cause the window operator assembly to perform an action.

An opening/closing body drive mechanism 1 comprises an opening/closing body 2 to move between an open position and a closed position; a drive unit 3 to drive the opening/closing body 2; a detecting unit 4 to detect the movement state of the opening/closing body 2; and a control unit 5 to control driving for the opening/closing body 2 based on an output of the detecting unit 4, wherein the control unit 5 carries out a feedback control to control the driving such that a physical value being detected with the detecting unit 4 is brought to be a target value; and in a case that the information from the detecting unit 4 differs from predetermined information according to the feedback control and a control value given to the drive unit 3 exceeds a predetermined threshold value, determines that information from the detecting unit 4 is abnormal.
Control device for opening and closing bodies
Provided is a control device for an opening and closing member configured to drive a driving source of an opening and closing member that opens and closes an opening section of a vehicle, and the control device for an opening and closing member includes a power generation detector configured to detect power generation of the driving source, and a controller configured to control driving of the driving source, wherein the controller is changed to a sleep state upon stoppage of the opening and closing member, and is activated from the sleep state to control a braking of the driving source when the power generation detector detects power generation of the driving source.
