Door control device
A door control device stops a door such that the door does not come into contact with an obstacle existing in a rotation range of the door. The door control device includes: a distance calculation unit configured to calculate a distance from the door to the obstacle; a speed calculation unit configured to calculate an actual speed of the door; a braking force setting unit configured to set a braking condition indicating transition of a braking force applied to the door; a speed estimation unit configured to estimate transition of an estimated speed of the door from start of braking until the door stops; and a braking force correction unit configured, during braking, to correct a braking force such that the braking force is increased, or reduced, when a time gradient of the actual speed is gentler than, or steeper than, that of the estimated speed.
Vehicle door apparatus to restrict opening of a door
A vehicle door apparatus includes: a moving object detector configured to detect a moving object approaching a door of a vehicle; a door opening operation detector configured to detect a door opening operation performed by an occupant in the vehicle; a door opening restriction unit configured to restrict opening of the door by the door opening operation when detecting approach of the moving object; and a door opening permission unit configured to permit opening of the door by the door opening operation when the door opening operation is detected a predetermined number of times in a state in which the opening of the door is restricted.
Drive arrangement for motor-operated adjustment of a closure element in a motor vehicle
Disclosed herein is a drive arrangement for motor-operated adjustment of a closure element in a motor vehicle having at least one drive with a drive motor, and a drive controller. The closure element can be driven in the motor-operated adjustment mode by the drive motor in the closing direction and in the opening direction between a closed and an open position. The drive is non-self-locking and has a sensor, in particular a Hall sensor, for sensing the drive movement. The drive controller monitors the sensor signals for a fault state, and when a fault state is sensed initiates an emergency braking and/or stop mode. The drive arrangement comprises two drives each with a sensor for determining the respective drive movement. To detect drive-fault-induced slamming shut of the closure element, the drive controller correlates the sensor signals of the two sensors, in particular compares said sensor signals.
Removable or adjustable cover for garage door sensor
A sensor unit includes a garage door sensor, a frame configured to be secured at one side of an opening for a garage door, and a cover. The garage door sensor is connected to said frame. The cover is configured to accommodate at least a portion of said garage door sensor. The cover is removably secured to said garage door sensor, such as for periodic cleaning.
Concealed electrical door operator
A door assembly includes a first door skin, a second door skin spaced apart from the first door skin and a door operator disposed between the first door skin and the second door skin. An arm extends from the door operator. The door operator includes a motor moving the arm to move the door between a closed position and an open position and between the open position and the closed position. A current sensor generates a current signal corresponding to the current to the motor. A position sensor in communication with the door arm generates a position signal corresponding to the position of the door relative to the frame. A controller communicates with the sensor and the motor. The controller controls a motor current to the motor in response to the current signal and the position signal.
Automatic door opening and closing system
An automatic door opening and closing system includes a distance measuring device measuring a distance between an external surface of a swing door of a vehicle and an object lying on a circumference of the swing door, a door lock device locking the swing door, a drive device opening and closing the swing door, a door opening operation input device receiving an operation to cancel the locking of the swing door and to open the swing door, and a control device controlling the door lock device and the drive device based on the distance measured in response to receiving the operation. The distance measuring device includes a plurality of distance sensors placed dispersively over the swing door, a measurement target by the distant measuring device including a whole of the external surface of the swing door.
Swinging door sensor device
The invention relates, among other things, to a door sensor device (20) for mounting on a door element (10), more particularly a swing door, which can be rotated about an axis of rotation (D), having at least one transmission device (21) for generating at least one monitoring beam (S) in the direction of the floor, said beam being oriented at an angle to the door leaf plane (E) of the door element (10), at least one receiving device (22) for receiving reflected or back-scattered radiation, and an evaluation device (23) for evaluating the radiation received by the receiving device (22) and generating an object detection signal. According to the invention, the evaluation device (23) is designed such that it checks whether a predefined exclusion condition is met, wherein the exclusion condition is dependent on at least three values, specifically an angle value specifying the rotational angle of the door element (10), a maximum value predefined for the evaluation device (23), said maximum value specifying a fixed, maximum permitted rotational angle of the door element (10), and a measuring-point-specific advance angle value, which specifies the angle between a section which is bounded by the measuring point (M1-Mn) formed by the monitoring beam (S) on the floor and the axis of rotation (D) of the door element (10), and the door leaf plane (E).
Safety device for a movable barrier system
A safety device (200) is provided for a movable barrier system ((100). The safety device comprises a position sensor (210) mountable, in use, to or adjacent a barrier (110). A target (220) is mountable to the other of the barrier, such that movement of the barrier causes relative movement between the position sensor and the target. A controller (240) can communicate with the position sensor. The position sensor can detect movement of the target relative to the position sensor and output a signal to the controller. The controller can receive the output signal from the position sensor, determine one or more signal characteristics from the output signal, and compare the one or more determined signal characteristics with one or more predetermined signal characteristics to determine if the relative movement between the target and the position sensor is within a predefined range. A movement detection method is also provided.
