PROTECTIVE BUTTON ASSEMBLY FOR EXTERIOR SURFACES OF VEHICLES
A button assembly for an exterior of a vehicle is disclosed. The button assembly is designed with improved water drainage properties. The button assembly includes a button switch and a bezel housing surrounding the button switch that is spaced apart from the button switch. A channel extends between the two components. In one example, the channel has a width of approximately 0.5 mm at one end. In another example, the channel is formed between two surfaces, and the outer surface is sloped relative to the button switch by approximately 15 degrees. Furthermore, in some examples, the channel has a height of approximately 3 mm. Each of these structural characteristics serves to significantly improve the assembly's overall drainage performance, which may be especially essential in colder climates.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPENING BOARDING DOOR
The present disclosure provides a method of opening a boarding door of a vehicle that provides use of a trunk room to a passenger reserving the trunk room. The method comprises keeping the boarding door closed until both a first condition and a second condition are satisfied and opening the boarding door or enabling the boarding door to be opened in response to both the first condition and the second condition being satisfied. Here, the first condition is that the passenger is in the vicinity of the boarding door. The second condition is that the trunk door is closed or that a reservation of the trunk room is cancelled.
Vehicle window control unit
A vehicle control unit kit is a plug-n-play OEM harness configured to interface with a given vehicle's OEM window switch connector. The device is configured to enable the given vehicle's power window master switch driver to operate all vehicle windows. A control device includes one operation knob which includes operation regions set so as to correspond to plural windows of a vehicle and on which a push-down operation and a pull-up operation can be performed, a contact detection unit to detect contact of a user with plural operation regions, an operation detection unit to detect the push-down operation and the pull-up operation performed on the operation knob, and a control unit that is configured, based on a predetermined operation performed on at least one of the plural operation regions and also based on the push-down operation or the pull-up operation performed on the operation knob, to determine plural windows to be opened or closed and control a power window device to drive the plural determined windows.

A mobile body control system includes: a window open or close instruction recognition unit that recognizes an open or close instruction of a window provided to a mobile body in accordance with a voice operation or an operation of a mobile terminal performed by a passenger on the mobile body; a window control unit that executes a window open or close control for opening or closing the window, when the open or close instruction of the window is recognized; and a window operation restriction unit that executes at least one of window operation inhibition processing for inhibiting execution of the window open or close control by the window control unit in accordance with an operation of a switch provided to the mobile body, and window operation stop processing for stopping the window being operated by the window open or close control in accordance with an operation of the switch.
Synchronized vehicle window control system
A vehicle window control system including a vehicle assembly and a control assembly is disclosed herein. The vehicle assembly includes a vehicle having a driver door having a driver window and passenger doors having passenger windows. The windows are each controlled by an electric motor preciously existing in the vehicle. The driver door further includes a control area having the control assembly mounted thereon. The control assembly includes a switch panel that allows a user to control the windows of the vehicle. The control assembly allows a user to automatically sync all of the windows of the vehicle from the control area of the driver door. Additionally, the vehicle window control system allows a user to have all of the windows of a vehicle to lower a predetermined amount when the vehicle is engaged.
System and method for preventing interference between opposite sliding doors and wheel
A system includes: a door opening/closing switch which receives, from a user, a manipulation instruction for opening or closing the door; a door position sensor which detects a position of the door; a steering controller which measures a steering angle of the vehicle; a door controller which receives, from the door opening/closing switch, the manipulation signal for opening or closing the door, receives door position information from the door position sensor, receives steering angle information from the steering controller, and determines that the door and the wheel are in an interference state when the wheel is not in an aligned state in which the wheel is parallel to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, when the user attempts to open the door; and a warning device which warns the user of a situation when the door controller determines that the door and the wheel are in the interference state.
Door opener with exposed control panel
A door opener includes a first side cover fixed to a mounting seat. A mode switching device is disposed on the first side cover and includes an anti-theft control module. A driving device is operatively connected to a door for moving the door. A control device is electrically connected to the mode switching device and the driving device. The control device includes a control panel for operating the driving device. The mode switching device is switchable to a wake-up mode only when the anti-theft control module is unlocked. The driving device is operable by the control panel only when the mode switching device is in the wake-up mode. An outer cover is coupled to the first side cover and covers an outer side of the driving device and an outer side of the control device. The control panel is exposed via a window of the outer cover to permit operation.

An embodiment door control method for a vehicle, wherein the vehicle includes a switch for opening or closing a door of the vehicle, includes receiving a first close input of the door of the vehicle from the switch, determining whether a keep-open mode of the door is in an ON state or an OFF state, wherein the keep-open mode is determined based on a user input, and controlling opening or closing of the door based on the ON state or the OFF state of the keep-open mode.
