Retraction device for two end positions
A retraction device for two end positions has two driving elements which are connected to one another by a spring energy accumulator. Each driving element is displaceably mounted in a respective guide housing. A sliding door has such a retraction device, and a sliding door arrangement has such a sliding door. Each driving element is coupled or can be coupled to a cylinder-piston unit mounted in the respective guide housing. Both guide housings are adjustable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the retraction device by means of at least one sliding joint. This provides a retraction device for two end positions, which can be used for a range of door widths without design modifications.
Top-hanging sliding door including wedge design top seal
Systems and methods for providing a door seal system for top-hanging sliding doors. In some implementations, two angled mating surfaces are used, one angled surface on a fixed frame and one reversed angled surface on the slideable door panel. The slideable door panel slides directly parallel to the fixed door frame. A mating seal surface is created that is only in frictional contact for a small portion of the linear slide distance of the door panel. In some implementations, rather than placing two opposing angled seal surfaces, the sealing system has one angled surface on the fixed door frame. In such implementations, the sliding door panel is adjusted to be in a reverse angled orientation relative to the angled surface of the fixed door frame. Seal designs for the rear vertical edge of the slideable door panel are also provided herein.
Furniture fitting
A furniture fitting includes a first fitting portion to be fixed to a furniture panel, and a second fitting portion to be fixed to a movably-mounted furniture part, the second fitting portion being pivotally connected to the first fitting portion. The first fitting portion includes a mounting portion having a fastening device for mounting the mounting portion to the furniture panel, and the first fitting portion includes a coupling portion hingedly connected to the second fitting portion. The coupling portion is releasably connected to the mounting portion, and the mounting portion includes a housing. The coupling portion, when connected with the mounting portion, is received within the housing. The coupling portion is releasably connected to the mounting portion by a locking device, the locking device including a movably-mounted locking element for releasably locking the coupling portion, and the locking element is pressurized by a force storage member.
Door closer arrangement
The aim of the invention is to achieve a door closer arrangement where the force needed for opening the door is not so substantial. The invention comprises a door closer, a slide rail, and an arm that connects the door closer with the slide rail. The arrangement comprises also a second rail, which is arranged to form a slide slope for the door closer and the auxiliary spring arrangement.
Device for adjusting the elevation of a piece
A device for adjusting an elevation of a piece comprises a body and a pin. The body is intended to be secured to a support, and has an internal surface defining a central cylinder provided with an internal thread and having a first opening. The pin has an external thread, a first end for carrying the piece, and a second end. The pin and the body are connected to one another through their respective threads. The pin can, when rotated, move in a longitudinal direction to adjust the elevation of its first end. The pin has at least two longitudinal slots on its second end to define at least two flexible legs. The body has at least one boss on its internal surface configured to bend the flexible legs and to fit into one of the slots during the rotational movement of the pin so as to index an elevational position of the piece.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet: a door formed to open and close the cabinet; an upper moving part coupled to the door and formed to be moved in a first direction with respect to the cabinet; a lower moving part disposed under the upper moving part, including an upper adjustment member configured to move the upper moving part in the first direction, and guiding the upper moving part to be linearly moved in the first direction; and a fixing part fixed to the cabinet under the lower moving part, including a lower adjustment member configured to move the lower moving part in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and guiding the lower moving part to be linearly moved in the second direction.
Adjustable hinge repair assembly
A replacement door hinge that facilitates the repair of a damaged door slab is provided. The replacement hinge includes a jamb side that is essentially the same as a conventional hinge to allow traditional mounting into the recess provided in the jamb for hinges. The slab side of the hinge is formed by a pair of opposing hinge leaves that are received on opposing sides of the door slab and include inwardly facing spikes and at least one or more countersunk screw holes to allow fastening therethrough to use screws in combination with the spikes to firmly engage the door slab. The leaves include a ratcheting retention system that engage at the edge of the door slab to allow installation onto door slabs having varying thicknesses while holding the front a back leaves together to form one unit that wraps and reinforces the door slab.
DOOR OPERATOR ARMATURE CONNECTIONS
An exemplary door control assembly includes a door control and an armature assembly. The door control includes a body and a pinion rotatably mounted to the body for rotation about a rotational axis. The pinion has a radially-outer periphery and a recess is formed in the radially-outer periphery. The armature assembly comprises an armature and a coupler. The armature is rotationally coupled with the pinion, and includes an opening in which the pinion is received. The coupler is movably mounted to the armature for movement between a coupling position and a decoupling position. With the coupler in the coupling position, the coupler projects into the recess and axially couples the armature and the pinion to prevent removal of the armature from the pinion. With the coupler in the decoupling position, the coupler axially decouples the armature and the pinion to permit removal of the armature from the pinion.
FURNITURE FITTING
A furniture fitting includes a first fitting portion to be fixed to a furniture panel, and a second fitting portion to be fixed to a movably-mounted furniture part, the second fitting portion being pivotally connected to the first fitting portion.
