A hinge or an item of furniture or a domestic appliance has a first hinge part and a second hinge part, which are interconnected via a lever mechanism having seven articulation pins and levers articulated thereon. The first hinge part has a first connecting piece and the second hinge part has a second connecting piece which are arranged parallel and spaced apart in a closed position of the hinge; and a cover element at least partially covers the lever mechanism on at least three sides in order to make it impossible to reach between the levers of the lever mechanism. A plurality of cover plates are formed integrally with the cover element, and the cover plates arranged on one side of the lever mechanism can be partially overlappingly pivoted relative to one another when the hinge is pivoted. The possibility of reaching into the lever mechanism is thereby prevented.

A module for a modular, motorized drive system, in particular for doors, wherein the modular system is designed such that a number of modules arranged linearly one behind the other along a longitudinal axis of the modular system form a functional group of the drive system is provided. Mounting strategies for locating and securing roof hinge covers to vehicle roofs. An exemplary roof hinge cover may be mounted relative to a roof component (e.g., roof panel, body side panel, bracket, etc.). A locator may be received through the roof hinge cover and into a locating hole of the roof component. One or more clips that are connected to the roof hinge cover may be received within locating openings of a bracket. The bracket supports at least a portion of the roof hinge cover.

A deflection device is for a traction cord of a window lift of a motor vehicle. The deflection device has a cord pulley, which has a circumferential track for the traction cord and a central bearing opening, and a carrier for the cord pulley. A carrier-side journal is provided for rotatably mounting the cord pulley, wherein the cord pulley is ring-shaped and has an internal ring wall surrounding the central bearing opening and an external ring wall having the track. The ring-shaped cord pulley is joined to the journal with a snap-fit assembly.

The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications enclosures that can be customizable to include a hinge. That is, a separate hinge may be utilized as an add-on feature for telecommunications enclosures. The hinge can be attached to at least two different sides of an enclosure or may not be utilized at all. Such a configuration allows for flexibility of a variety of designs for a telecommunications enclosure. The hinge can be mountable to interfaces of first and second housing pieces of an enclosure. The hinge can have rotational features and/or translational features for pivoting first and second housing pieces of an enclosure between first and second positions.

A dual hinge method that uses a temporary hinge 150 that is subsequently replaced by a permanent hinge 250 that both have snap-in features on both the panel leaf and frame jamb.

A furniture fitting includes a first fitting portion to be fixed to a furniture carcass, and a second fitting portion to be fixed to a movable furniture part, the two fitting portions being pivotally connected by a hinge axis member. The first fitting portion can be inserted into a recess in the furniture carcass, and/or the second fitting portion can be inserted into a recess in the movable furniture part. The first fitting portion and/or the second fitting portion includes a longitudinal housing having two end sections spaced apart. The hinge axis member is arranged on a first end section of the housing, and the first fitting portion and/or the second fitting portion includes a fastening device having a movably-mounted actuating element formed as a rotatable screw. By actuating the actuating element, at least one fitting portion can be fixed within the recess on both end sections of the housing.
