GATE HINGE PIN ASSEMBLY
A gate hinge pin and strap assembly for attachment to a wooden post for supporting a gate including a J-bolt or threaded L-bolt with a metal strap affixed to the bolt between the threads and cylindrical neck portion. A bendable metal strap extends on each side of the J-bolt or threaded L-bolt. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each bolt of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.
SECURITY CONTAINER
A security container that can be easily and securely connected to a fixed structure such as, but not limited to, a rod, pole, handle, latch, etc. such that the security container can be securely and easily connected and disconnected from the fixed structure.
FURNITURE FITTING
A furniture fitting for movably supporting a furniture part on a furniture carcass, includes a first component and a second component. The two components are connected to each other via at least one pivot bearing having a bearing axis, and the first component includes a first wall. The at least one pivot bearing includes at least one capillary disc having a second wall, and the second wall is spaced from the first wall of the first component by a, preferably annular, gap having a gap width. The gap width at least partially decreases radially in a direction of the bearing axis, so that a lubricant filled into the gap can be transferred radially in a direction towards the bearing axis and/or along the bearing axis by a capillary force.
Cover element for a hinge and corresponding hinge
The invention relates to a cover element for a hinge, which comprises at least one hinge area to be clad, in which blind hole-like recesses are formed, wherein the cover element comprises a plane base body for the outer cladding of the hinge area. The invention further relates to a hinge, in particular for a door, comprising at least one hinge axis element, a first hinge part and a second hinge part, which are connected to one another in a hinge-like manner via the at least one hinge axis element and at least one cover element with a plane base body for the outer cladding of a respective hinge area, wherein blind hole-like recesses are firmed in the hinge area of the respective hinge part to be clad.
A HYDRAULICALLY DAMPED HINGE FOR HINGING A CLOSURE MEMBER TO A SUPPORT
A hinge comprising: a first hinge member (110) comprising a cylinder barrel (117) having a longitudinal direction (118); a second hinge member (111) pivotably mounted on the first hinge member (110); and a dashpot interposed between said hinge members (110, 111) and configured for damping a closing movement of said closure member. The dashpot comprises a closed cylinder cavity formed within the cylinder barrel (117); a damper shaft (124) which extends into the cylinder cavity and is connected to the second hinge member (111); and a piston (147) within said cylinder cavity. The hinge members (110, 111) are made of a synthetic material and the damper shaft (124) is made of metal.
Vehicle door opening and closing apparatus
A vehicle includes a body having a door frame defining a door aperture, a vehicle door, a rail mounted on the body, a roller unit mounted on the vehicle door and configured to move along the rail and allow the vehicle door to open and close in a sliding mode and a swing mode, a center rail extending from an edge of the door aperture, a center roller unit including rollers configured to be guided along the center rail, a roller bracket having the rollers mounted thereon, a roller-side hinge element connected to the roller bracket, and a door-side hinge element rotatably connected to the roller-side hinge element by a hinge pin, a door-side docking unit releasably connecting the door-side hinge element to the vehicle door, and a frame-side docking unit releasably connecting the roller-side hinge element to the door frame.
MULTI-JOINT LINK HINGE AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
A multi-joint link hinge includes a hinge bracket, a plurality of links axially coupled to the hinge bracket, and a door bracket coupled to the plurality of links. The hinge bracket includes a base portion that defines a plurality of screw coupling holes at a vertical surface thereof, a plurality of side portions that extend from the base portion in a horizontal direction and are spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction, and a side surface portion that extends from the base portion in the vertical direction and defines a fixing groove. The plurality of links are coupled between the plurality of side portions along an axis that extends in the vertical direction. The multi-joint link hinge is used for a home appliance including refrigerators.
HINGE WITH REINFORCED ABUTMENTS
A hinge assembly with reinforced abutment surfaces via the use of multiple strike plates. The strike plates are made from stronger and more robust materials than the underlying hinge, such that the strike plates bear the loads (vs. the underlying hinge material) to prevent deformation of the hinge components during use over time.
Gate hinge pin assembly
A gate hinge for a preferably wooden post which includes an L-shaped rod threaded on one leg with a metal strap rigidly connected to the threaded leg at about one and one half inches from the elbow of the rod on the threaded leg. The metal strap extends six or so inches form each side of the L-shaped rod with two or more holes near each end of the strap. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each leg of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.
AIRCRAFT DOOR COMMON STOP FITTING
A stop fitting assembly for an aircraft door is presented. The stop fitting assembly comprises a stop fitting, a connecting bracket, and a number of removable fasteners. The stop fitting has a shaft, a flange extending outward from the shaft, and a number of holes extending through the shaft. The connecting bracket has a stop fitting receptacle configured to receive the shaft of the stop fitting, a number of holes extending through walls of the stop fitting receptacle, the connecting bracket configured to be joined to structural members of the aircraft door. The number of removable fasteners is configured to pass through the number of holes in the stop fitting and the number of holes of the stop fitting receptacle to removably join the stop fitting and the connecting bracket.
