SQUEAK-REDUCING HINGE ARRANGEMENT
A hinge arrangement includes a first hinge component and a second hinge component and a hinge pin, where the first hinge component includes plurality of knuckles each having a respective bushing washer inserted therein. Each bushing washer includes a tubular bushing body inserted within its respective knuckle and an annular washer rim that unitary with the tubular bushing body and disposed atop its respective knuckle. An outer surface of each tubular bushing washer engages an inner surface of its respective knuckle to retain the bushing washer to the knuckle even when the hinge pin is removed and the second hinge component is separated from the first hinge component.
Track fitting assembly for sliding doors, and track system
A track fitting assembly includes at least two mutually parallel tracks for a sliding door system. It further includes at least one Z-shaped carrier part, which has a fastening leg, a vertical leg and a support leg. The track fitting assembly also includes at least one insert part, at least some regions of which may be encompassed by the carrier part. Both the carrier part and the insert part each have a constant cross-section along their entire length oriented in the longitudinal direction. A track system includes at least one such track fitting assembly and at least one additional carrier part and/or at least one additional insert part. A piece of furniture includes such a track system.
Dashpot for damping a closing movement of a closure system
A dashpot comprising: a closed cylinder cavity and a damper shaft (24) which are rotatable with respect to one another; a piston (47) which is slideable between two extreme positions; and a motion converting mechanism to convert the relative rotation between the cylinder barrel (17) and the damper shaft (24) into a sliding motion of the piston (47). The motion converting mechanism comprises two co-operating screw threads, one (58) being provided on an outer wall of the piston (47) and the other one being provided on an inner wall of the cylinder barrel (17) or on an inner wall of a plastic tubular element fixed to the cylinder barrel. By providing the screw thread (58) on the outside of the piston (47), the diameter of the screw thread (58) is increased thereby increasing its lead and thus causing a higher volume of hydraulic fluid to be displaced during operation of the dashpot.
