Fenestration units with spacer blocks and methods of manufacturing the same
Fenestration units with spacer blocks and methods of manufacturing the same are described herein. The fenestration units may include shim wedges that cooperate with the spacer blocks to raise the fenestration unit within a rough opening.
CONNECTING DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, CONNECTING STRUCTURE THEREFOR, AND CONNECTING METHOD THEREFOR
A connecting device configured to connect two construction materials arranged at a distance therebetween, that is, a door frame, a base member, and a reinforcing member of a wall includes a connecting member including a locking portion capable of being locked with a locking target member arranged at one construction material along a thickness direction perpendicular to a direction of the distance and a coupling portion configured to be moved in the thickness direction and coupled to the other construction material by a drill screw as a coupling fitting are arranged at an end on a side of the one construction material and an end on a side of the other construction material. When the coupling portion is not coupled to the other construction material, the locking portion is movable in the thickness direction with respect to the locking target member.
Connection member for construction materials, connecting fitting therefor, connecting structure therefor, and connecting method therefor
A first end portion of a connecting part of a connecting member reaches a locked member arranged such that the thickness direction of one of two construction materials is an axial direction N, and a second end portion of the connecting part reaches the other one of the two construction materials. The second end portion is formed to have a torsion angle α as an inclination angle to the axial direction N. When the second end portion is coupled with the other construction material by a coupling fitting, the torsion angle α reduces or disappears, a torsion angle to the axial direction N is generated in the first end portion, the first end portion locks on the locked member, and the connecting member connects the two construction materials.
Adjustable packer apparatus
An adjustable packer apparatus for adjusting a clearance space between at least two support members. The adjustable packer apparatus having at least one first and one second planar member and adjustment means. The planar members are configured and spaced from each other and each include an one aperture there through whereby one planar member is movably attachable by the adjustment means through alignment of the at least one aperture of one planar member to the other planar member. The adjustment means includes at least one bolt attached to the second planar member. The first planar member has a threaded member protruding therefrom, wherein the bolt is threadingly engaged with the threaded member. The second planar member is attachable to one of the two support members which provides a stiffer or less flexible support than that provided by or for the first planar member. A method of installation is also disclosed.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SECURING FRAMES
The invention relates to a device (1) for securing frames (2), comprising a retaining plate (5) and two cooperating clamping angles (6a, 6b), wherein a first clamping angle (6a) and/or a second clamping angle (6b) are arranged on the retaining plate (5) such that they can shift relative thereto, so that a span width of the clamping angles (6a, 6b) can be changed. To ensure a simple handling of the device (1), it is provided according to the invention that the clamping angles (6a, 6b) are arranged on the retaining plate (5) in a rotationally fixed manner and each comprise at least one planar clamping element and at least one connecting piece. The invention also relates to a use of a device (1) of this type. The invention furthermore relates to two methods for securing a frame (2) to a wall (3), wherein if necessary, a first clamping angle (6a) is connected to a retaining plate (5) and the retaining plate (5) is secured to an inner side of the frame (2). To achieve a simple securing of a frame (2), it is provided according to the invention that the frame (2) is inserted into a wall opening, whereupon a second clamping angle (6b) is connected to the retaining plate (5) in a rotationally fixed manner across from the first clamping angle (6a), after which the first clamping angle (6a) and the second clamping angle (6b) are connected using at least one adjusting means and a span width is reduced until a sufficient clamping force on the wall (3) is reached in order to fix the frame (2) to the wall (3).
