Security arm barrier
A variety of systems, methods, and compositions are disclosed, including in one method, a security arm barrier system, the system comprising: a drive stanchion mounted to a first substructure; an arm barrier coupled to the drive stanchion, wherein the arm barrier further comprises: a first member, wherein a proximal end of the first member is coupled to the drive stanchion; a second member, wherein a proximal end of the second member coupled to a distal end of the first member; and an articulating joint that couples the first member and the second member, and an energy absorbing material disposed within the first member and the second member; and a receiver stanchion mounted to a second substructure capable of receiving a distal end of the second member.
Double door gate apparatus
A double door gate apparatus having a frame, a main gate and a secondary gate, where the apparatus includes the unique features of a) a latch apparatus between uppermost framework members of the main gate and secondary gate, b) the latch apparatus being weighted to return to a normally closed position, c) each of the main gate and secondary gates having an inverted U-shaped piece engaging the bottommost horizontal member such that each of the main and secondary gates need to be lifted prior to being opened and prior to being closed, and d) a pair of hand wheels on a common shaft that work together to space the double door gate apparatus a desired distance from a vertical surface such as a wall.
Adjustable Fencing, Gates, and Assemblies and Methods of Assembly and Installation
Adjustable fence and gate assemblies may include first and second vertical frame sections having opposing ends and horizontal frame sections are rotatably connected to each end of the vertical frame sections. The vertical and horizontal frame section may be adjustably connected to form an adjustable frame for the gate. Gate member brackets may be attached to each end of the vertical frame sections proximate each end of the vertical frame sections to retain and secure gate members in position. Two hinge brackets may be positioned on the vertical frame section configured to attach to a post and enable opening and closing of the gate. Truss cable connectors including a turnbuckle and a collet may be employed to secure a truss cable providing structural support for the gate and provide access to the interior of the frame sections for truss cable storage.
Vehicle barrier gate system
A vehicle barrier gate system which is positioned above a roadway through which vehicles pass. Some of the various embodiments of the present disclosure include a gate comprised of an arm and barrier which is adjustable between a raised position in which a vehicle may pass and a lowered position in which a vehicle is prevented from passing. The gate may be movably connected to a ceiling or an overhead support structure positioned above the roadway. Various types of actuators may be utilized to adjust the gate along a linear and/or angular path between the raised and lowered positions. A control unit may be in communication with one or more sensors and/or an authorization system to control the actuator. The gate may include a breakaway mechanism which allows the gate to be manually raised or lowered in the event of actuator failure or a vehicle ramming through the gate.
SWING GATE MECHANISM TO SWING OPEN AN OVERHEAD LIFT GATE
A swing gate mechanism to swing open an overhead lift gate system includes an overhead swing gate. The overhead swing gate has a pivot side and a catch side. A first gate power arm is configured to move along a first overhead guide track on a first side of the overhead lift gate system. A second gate power arm is configured to move along a second overhead guide track on a second side of the overhead lift gate system. At least one hinge is connected between the pivot side of the overhead swing gate and the first gate power arm. The at least one hinge is configured to allow the overhead swing gate to swing open by rotating about the first gate power arm.
Apparatus for bracing a fence gate and methods of making and using same
An apparatus for bracing a fence gate during installation of the fence gate. The apparatus includes at least one support member and a brace bar. The at least one support member is mounted to the fence gate. The brace bar has a first end, a second end and a brace portion extending therebetween. A first portion of the brace bar is connectable to the fence gate and a second portion of the brace bar is adjustably connectable to the at least one support member.
Retractable gate system
A retractable gate system structured and arranged to block off stairs and doorways with a simple pull and click by extending a sliding rail, pulling down mesh material, and clipping the device into bottom anchor hooks to instantly close off any opening thereby keeping kids and pets safe.
