20230027434 · 2023-01-26 ·

Described is a window (1) for civil and industrial buildings, comprising a load-bearing frame (2) for a pair of sheets (3, 4) made of optically transparent material: a first sheet (3) and a second sheet (4) which have a relative face facing, respectively, towards the outside and towards the inside of a building (9) on which the window (1) is mounted. There are also means (11, 12, 13) for converting the energy of incident sunlight into electricity, by means of the photovoltaic effect interposed between the above-mentioned sheets (3, 4).

CLIMATE ADAPTIVE GLASS ENVELOPE FOR BUILDING
20220364408 · 2022-11-17 ·

Glass buildings are characterized by contradictory requirements—high visibility and high insolation levels. Transparency will allow sun radiation into the building, while isolation will prevent heat to be ventilated through same windows. This creates a greenhouse effect during summer, leading to excessive air conditioning load. As a result, leading architects and engineers are calling for all-glass skyscrapers to be banned. The disclosed art offers an alternative glass envelope which adapts its U-Value to climate changes, by a special aluminum frame which dissipates the heat when necessary. The proposed system is sealed and the adaptation of the envelope U-Value is achieved by circulating enclosed air into the aluminum frame, significantly increasing its heat dissipation characteristics. The disclosed art overcomes most drawbacks of prior art, offering a solution with superior U-value isolating during wintertime and cooling during summertime. SHGC will be controlled by a triple glazed configuration with two parallel cavities.

Ventilation system for a large industrial space

Method and apparatus for ventilating an interior space, such as a large industrial structure with at least one bay opening. A ventilation system includes an array of M by N fans stacked into a two dimensional (2D) array. A rigid frame supports the array. A seal assembly provides a nominally fluid-tight seal between an outer perimeter of the array and the bay opening. A locking assembly mechanically couples the frame to the bay opening. In some cases, a bay door can be partially retracted and attached to a top of the frame. In other cases, the bay door may be fluidically permeable (e.g., a chain, a screen, etc.) and the array is secured behind a fully closed door. Cooling air is directed out the bay opening at a suitable time, such as overnight. A soft-start motor capability can be used to initiate operation of the array.

AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE

The present invention relates to an air-conditioning device comprising: a case having an interior divided into a first area and a second area, having an indoor inlet and an indoor outlet formed therein such that the first area and an indoor space communicate with each other, and having an outdoor inlet and an outdoor outlet formed therein such that the second area and an outdoor space communicate with each other; a barrier arranged between the first area and the second area inside the case; an indoor blowing fan arranged in the first area so as to form a flow of air from the indoor inlet to the indoor outlet; an outdoor blowing fan arranged in the second area so as to form a flow of air from the outdoor inlet to the outdoor outlet; a first thermoelectric element comprising a first indoor heat exchanger arranged in the first area so as to exchange heat with air passing through the first area, and a first outdoor heat exchanger arranged in the second area so as to exchange heat with air passing through the second area; a case lower-surface formed on the lower surface of the case so as to have an open upper side such that condensed water generated from the first thermoelectric element is collected; and a second thermoelectric element arranged between the first thermoelectric element and the case lower-surface so as to heat the condensed water. The first area and the second area are connected between the case lower-surface and the second thermoelectric element such that the condensed water is distributed across the first area and the second area. The present invention is advantageous in that indoor cooling/heating can be performed without no separate compressor, outdoor unit, and the like, and condensed water can be effectively evaporated.

Smart window for green energy smart home and smart grid with field programmable system on chip FPSOC of Anlinx, Milinx and Zilinx

The smart window for the smart home and smart grid can harvest energy and supply power to the home, grid and window itself. The smart window for the smart home and smart grid has all the Electrochromic panel, Solar panel and Multimedia panel been the same full window wide view and aligned with each other in IGU. To be a home automation system, the smart window has local/remote access/control capabilities. There are several types of smart windows working as master device or slave device. The operation of smart window automation system has three modes, normal/open mode, shut/tint mode and smart phone mode. The tube of air circulation system is hidden inside the frame surrounding IGU. Most of the electronic components are integrated to be FPSOC Field Programmable System On Chip that all the electronic component is hidden in the frame surrounding IGU, too. Therefore, the smart window doesn't have any blockage of window view with the Solar panel, Electrochromic panel, Multimedia panel and air circulation system. The smart window has the clean outlook as the conventional dual panel IGU does. The master device of the smart window system is similar to the huge screen working as a smart phone. In normal/open mode, the smart window is similar to the conventional dual panel window having the full-panel clean and clear view. For the different architectures of the smart homes, the smart window must have versatile alignments and system control that the smart window has to be implemented with the Field Programmable System On Chips of Anlinx, Milinx and Zilinx made of the W5RS advanced FPSOC chip technologies.

DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC WINDOW CLEANING AND VENTILATION
20230080676 · 2023-03-16 ·

The invention belongs to the devices for automatic cleaning and ventilation of windows from the facade of high-rise buildings. The technical result of the proposed invention is the simplification of the construction of the device, which makes it possible to clean the glass surface without human resources, which is also financially profitable. In this case, the glass cleaning, which is carried out by a climber and costs from 7 to 28 dollars per square meter, is reduced to 1 dollar per square meter through the proposed invention. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the proposed device contains an additional washing solution valve equipped with pipes, ventilation box, ozonator, filters, speakers and control panel, water valves, as well as a water valve with a flushing solution for the pipe. In the first section of the frame, the water valve is also connected to the outlet pipe.

Shutter

A shutter includes a window frame, a plurality of blade structures, an intake driving unit and an airflow guiding unit. The window frame has an upper frame portion, a lower frame portion and two side frame portions. The blade structures are disposed on the window frame, and each has a through hole and a plurality of outlets. The intake driving unit is disposed in the upper frame portion. The airflow guiding unit is disposed in at least one of the two side frame portions. Each of the through holes of the blade structures communicates with the inside of at least one of the two side frame portions.

Uniformly expandable air filter

The present disclosure relates to air filters. More particularly, it relates to air filters including pleated filter media that can be uniformly expanded and contracted. INFILL ELECTROCHROMIC WINDOWS

Various embodiments herein relate to methods, structures, tools, installation systems, etc. for retrofitting a new electrochromic window in a pre-existing window recess. In many cases, the new electrochromic window is installed parallel to a lite of a pre-existing window, with the resulting structure including the new electrochromic window, the pre-existing window, and a pocket that forms between them. Installation of a new electrochromic window in tandem with a pre-existing window results in many benefits including improved insulation (e.g., due to the presence of the additional air pocket(s) and lite(s)), improved climate control (e.g., due to the ability to control the amount of sunlight entering the building via the electrochromic window), and enhanced aes thetics.
