Removable Door or Window Frame Assembly
A frame assembly for installation into a door or window casing is provided. The casing has a top and two side studs. The assembly includes a head jamb, a pair of side jambs, and a pair of connecting mechanism. The head jamb is removably securable to the top stud. Each side jamb is removably securable to a respective one of the two side studs. Each connecting mechanism for connecting a respective one of the side jambs with a corresponding end of the head jamb includes a first component and a second component. The first component is provided on the head jamb, and the second component is provided on the side jambs. The first and second components are removably engageable, and allow the frame assembly to be installed and uninstalled from the door or window casing. A method for removably installing the frame assembly is also provided.
Glazing support system
A glazing assembly comprises a glazing support system for attaching a glazing unit to a frame element. The glazing support system comprises: a tension member for extending around a major portion of the periphery of the glazing unit 4; and a connection system for coupling the tension member to the frame element in at least two locations and for transferring tension forces from the tension member to the frame element whilst compression forces arising due to tension in the tension member are applied to the outside of the glazing unit.

System for reducing warping in solid wood doors
The invention described relates to the manufacturing of solid wood doors and consists in the insertion of steel reinforcing bars in the frames of the door to increase its rigidity. By increasing the rigidity of the door, the effect of possible warping in the door is diminished. In addition to this, alloying the steel, which possesses an elasticity modulus that is around ten times superior to that of wood, we achieve significantly higher rigidity for the piece of solid wood and this, by adding very little steel. The arrangement and the geometry of the reinforcing bars permit the conservation of traditional manufacturing techniques.
