Frame construction method
The invention is a method, an apparatus and a kit of parts for assembling a universal frame with at least two jambs, a lintel and a sill. The resulting frame is suitable for any size of opening and any size of door, with the option to include single doors or double doors as well as side screens and/or side lights. The frame is typically assembled by cutting the jambs (and optionally the sill and/or lintel) to a selected size, attaching keys to each end of each jamb and inserting the keys into keying channels in the sill and lintel.
Frame assembly with reinforced corner structure
A kit for a frame assembly is disclosed. The kit comprises a first frame member, a second frame member, and a first and second counterpart of a corner connector. The first and second counterparts are co-operatively configured for connecting to obtain the corner connector. The first counterpart, the second counterpart, the first frame member, and the second frame member are co-operatively configured for assembly to define the frame assembly. The first frame member is coupled to the second frame member via the obtained corner connector. The corner connector is connected to the first frame member along a first side of the first frame member and is also connected along a second side of the first frame member, and the corner connector is connected to the second frame member along a first side of the second frame member and is also connected along a second side of the second frame member.
Gate corner insert
A gate assembly is disclosed including a gate rail and an upright including a plurality of walls defining a cavity therebetween. A first of the walls includes an opening that is configured to receive the gate rail therethrough such that the gate rail extends into the cavity. The gate assembly further includes a gate corner insert configured for insertion into the cavity of the upright through a second opening of the upright. The gate corner insert includes a base and a plurality of protrusions extending from the base. The base and the plurality of protrusions define a second cavity therebetween with first and second protrusions of the plurality of protrusions defining a third opening in communication with the second cavity. The third opening and the second cavity are configured to receive the gate rail therein for removable attachment to the gate corner insert.
Door for mobile living quarters
A door is assembled from a plurality of straight lengths of extrusion, with the lengths of extrusion mated with corners at the top and bottom. The top corners are curved and interference fit to terminal ends of the top and side extrusions. The top and side extrusions have an opening into a cavity. As assembled, a continuous screen groove extends through the corners from the top, bottom, and side extrusions. The door includes transverse extrusions having an enclosed cross-sectional profile that are affixed to the side extrusions with alignment ends. The bottom corners interference fit to terminal ends of bottom extrusions and side extrusions.
SILL CORNER BRACKETS FOR COASTAL IMPACT RESISTANT FENESTRATIONS
Embodiments herein relate to fenestrations exhibiting coastal impact performance. In an embodiment, a fenestration unit includes a frame assembly forming a first lower corner and a second lower corner. A first sill corner bracket can fit on a top of a sill and extend from the first lower corner partway along the top of the sill and partway along one side jamb of the frame assembly. A second sill corner bracket can be configured to fit on the top of the sill and extend from the second lower corner partway along the top of the sill and partway along the other side jamb. A bottom sash can include a bottom rail defining a channel to receive at least a portion of the first corner bracket and the second corner bracket therein when the bottom sash is in the closed position. Other embodiments are also included herein.
CORNER CLEATS WITH WIRING PASSAGEWAY
A framed assembly includes a first frame member defining a first inner channel, a second frame member defining a second inner channel and positioned adjacent the first frame member at a corner joint, and a corner cleat having a first leg received within the first inner channel and terminating at a first end of the corner cleat, and a second leg received within the second inner channel and terminating at a second end of the corner cleat. A passageway is defined in the corner cleat and extends between the first and second ends. The passageway places the first inner channel in communication with the second inner channel.
Track corner connecting device for shower door, shower door frame and shower door
This invention relates to the field of sanitary and bathing devices, and particularly to a track corner connecting device for a shower door used in a shower room, a shower door frame and a shower door. The track corner connecting device for a shower door comprises: an inserting member and a receiving member, wherein: the inserting member comprises an insert, the insert having a chamber therein and being provided with a first opening; the receiving member comprises a receiver, the receiver having a receiving chamber therein and being provided with a second opening and a third opening, the second and third openings being arranged on two adjacent walls of the receiver; the receiving member further comprises a fixture; and an exit-stopping projection is provided on a second wall of the receiving member.
Track corner connecting device for shower door, shower door frame and shower door
This invention relates to the field of bathroom devices, and particularly to a track corner connecting device for a shower door used in a shower room, a shower door frame and a shower door. The track corner connecting device for a shower door comprises: an inserting member, a receiving member and a protective cover. The shower door frame comprises a track and aside frame. Two tracks forming an included angle therebetween are connected by the above connecting device. The shower door comprises a shower door frame and a glass plate mounted therein.
Frame assembly splice
A frame assembly supporting an overhead door has a horizontal header connected to upright columns or posts with splice assemblies. Fasteners mounted on the columns cooperate with retainers on the splice assemblies to position and connect the columns to the header. Hinge assemblies pivotally mount the door on the header for movement between open and closed positions.
