Inflatable gate seal assembly
11479098 · 2022-10-25 ·

An inflatable gate seal assembly includes a dump box that is mountable on a dump truck for carrying and dumping a load. A gate is hingedly coupled to the dump box for opening and closing the dump box. A conduit is integrated into the dump box and the conduit is fluidly coupled to an air compressor of the dump truck to receive compressed air from the air compressor. A control is positioned in a cab of the dump truck and the control is in electrical communication with the air compressor. A balloon is coupled to the dump box and the balloon is in fluid communication with the conduit. The balloon is inflated when the control is put in an on condition. Thus, the balloon engages the gate when the balloon is inflated and the gate is in the closed position to inhibit debris from passing between the dump box and the gate.

HEMP shielded sliding door system and method

A sliding door system and method is used in an enclosure that defines an inner area shielded against a High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (“HEMP”). The HEMP shielded sliding door system includes an RF shielding door frame, an RF shielding door leaf mounted within an mechanical door leaf frame, a mechanical insertion and retraction assembly attached to both the mechanical door leaf frame and RF shielding door leaf and that operates to extend and retract the RF shielding door leaf into and out of the RF shielding door frame, a drive tube assembly operable to interact with and open and close mechanical door leaf frame (along with RF shielding door leaf) in a sliding motion, and a control assembly, including motor and an air regulator assembly. HEMP shielding air seals are activated when the RF shielding door leaf is inserted into the RF shielding door frame.

ADA compliant shielded door

An ADA compliant shielded door is disclosed. According to one aspect, a door is configured to create a radio frequency (RF) seal when the door is sealed so that RF energy is restricting from passing through a gap between an outer periphery of the door and a door frame when the door is sealed. The door includes: at least one knife edge along at least part of the outer periphery of the door, each knife edge configured to project into a channel of a door frame in a direction parallel to a face of the door when the door is sealed. The door also includes at least one contact element along a length of a knife edge, the at least one contact element being configured to make electrical contact with a channel wall of a channel of the door frame when the knife edge projects into the channel.

BUILDING APERTURE COVER, SUCH AS A WINDOW OR DOOR, COMPRISING FLEXIBLE GASKET WITH SEALED CAVITY

The present disclosure relates to a building aperture cover (1) such as a window or a door. The building aperture cover comprises a frame arrangement (2) and a vacuum insulated glass unit (3), wherein the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) comprises an evacuated gap (4) placed between a first and a second glass sheet (3a, 3b), and wherein a plurality of support structures (5) are arranged in the evacuated gap (4). The vacuum insulated glass unit (3) is arranged in the frame arrangement (2, 6). The building aperture cover (1) comprises one or more elongated flexible sealing gaskets (21, 22) arranged between an outer major surface (S1, S2) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) and a frame part (13a, 13c, 23a, 23c) of the frame arrangement (2, 6). The one or more elongated flexible sealing gaskets (21, 22) is arranged to extend substantially parallel to an edge (7, 50a-50d) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3). One or more of the one or more elongated flexible sealing gaskets (21, 22) comprises an interior, sealed cavity (21a, 22a) configured to comprise a pressurized fluid.

INFLATABLE SEAL FOR DOOR OPENINGS
20170247207 · 2017-08-31 · ·

An inflatable door seal for sealing a vehicle includes inflatable members at its right and left sides, wherein each of the inflatable members includes at least one vertical inflatable portion for sealing against sides of the vehicle, a curtain portion for sealing against the roof of the vehicle, and a bottom seal portion for sealing between the floor ground and the vehicle. A method of inflating an inflatable door seal is also provided.

Inflatable flood barrier
09745795 · 2017-08-29 · ·

An inflatable flood barrier includes a board having a side plate and a peripheral plate attached to the side plate. The board being provided with a charging port, the peripheral plate has rounded corners, and the side plate has corner portions. The rounded corners and the corner portions are positionally corresponding. The corner portion has guiding grooves. A flexible seal embraces at least a part of the peripheral plate and has an internal channel, a gas inlet and a gas discharging port. When the flexible seal is inflated at the internal channel, a watertight combination between the inflatable flood barrier and a contacting surface of a gate it protects is achieved. The inflatable flood barrier is structurally simple, watertight, convenient to use and store, apparently pleasing, and functionally versatile.
