A fall protection system includes an elevation mechanism including a base end and an elevated end, and that is configured to permit a user to scale the elevation mechanism. The first channel is disposed at a first side of the elevation mechanism and extends between the base end and the elevated end, and is configured to anchor a first shuttle to the elevation mechanism and permit the first shuttle to transition between the base end and the elevated end of the elevation mechanism. The second channel is disposed at a second side of the elevation mechanism and extends between the base end and the elevated end, and is configured to anchor a second shuttle to the elevation mechanism and permit the second shuttle to transition between the base end and the elevated end of the elevation mechanism.

There is provided a climbing locking system for climbing ladders in particular of a wind power installation. The climbing locking system has at least one climbing ladder segment having a longitudinal direction and at least one open end for accommodating a fall arrester which can move back and forth as a climbing protection system along the longitudinal direction. The climbing locking system also has at least one climbing locking unit at the at least one open end of the climbing ladder segment. The climbing locking unit is fastened pivotably to the climbing ladder segment and has a locking position for locking a movement of a fall arrester along a direction of the climbing ladder segment and a passing position for allowing a movement of the fall arrester along the longitudinal direction of the climbing ladder segment in both directions.

A ladder is revealed. A sliding rail is formed on a surface of one side of each of two ladder poles of a ladder body. At least one sliding block is mounted and sliding in the sliding rail of the ladder pole. An assembly member is arranged between the sliding blocks of the ladder poles. A ring on user's safety clothing is set on the center of the assembly member and connected to the assembly member during climbing. When the user falls off the ladder accidentally, the sliding blocks connected to the assembly member are also pulled so that the sliding blocks are inclined an angle and the braking end within the sliding rail is against the wall of the sliding rail for braking and slip resistance. Thereby the descending is slowed down and the ladder safety during climbing is improved.

A fall protection system includes an elevation mechanism including a base end and an elevated end, and that is configured to permit a user to scale the elevation mechanism. The present application relates to the technical field of lifting equipment, and provides a traction machine and a lifting equipment. The traction machine includes traction pulleys, traction ropes driven by the traction pulleys and fixed pulleys for changing directions of the traction ropes. The fixed pulley is provided with a sensor sensing member rotating with the fixed pulley, a traction machine sensor is arranged beside the fixed pulley; the traction machine sensor is configured to detect a rotation speed of the sensor sensing member, and send the rotation speed to a controller of the traction machine; the controller controls a rotation of the traction pulley according to detected data of the traction machine sensor. Since this kind of traction machine is provided with the sensor sensing member and the traction machine sensor, it is capable of detecting whether the traction machine has an abnormal operation, and stopping the traction machine immediately in an abnormal state.

A modular ladder system has a rung section having two elongate lateral stile extrusions and elongate rung extrusions spanning therebetween. Each stile extrusion may define an attachment side having an attachment face which has two attachment channels which are adjacent, parallel and longitudinally arranged along the attachment face. Each attachment channel may have inward facing rails which define an elongate insertion space therebetween and a relatively wider connector head accommodation void thereunderneath. Furthermore, each rail may define a connector head engaging under edge. Each stile extrusion may further define a connection side adjacent to the attachment side which may define a splice joint extrusion accommodating void therein. In this way, the present modular ladder system may be quickly and easily constructed and various accessories quickly and easily attached thereto.

An assembly having two safety attachments for attaching to stiles of a ladder that will improve grip of the ladder against a surface it is in contact with during use. Each safety attachment incorporates a gliding channel section and a non-gliding channel section, each formed to accept a range of ladder stile sizes therebetween. The gliding channel section sliding along a screw threaded rod. The screw threaded rod including a rotational thumb nut for positioning the gliding channel section so that the gliding and non-gliding channel sections are in contact with the respective ladder stile. Each safety attachment incorporates a rocking section with a contact face that contacts the surface against which the ladder is placed during use and enables full face contact of the safety attachment over a range of angles between the ladder and the surface against which it rests during use.
