The lateral isolator (200) also includes an inner member (210) having a pivot ring (220) disposed within the tubular body. A first elastomeric package (236) is disposed between the tubular body and the inner member (210) longitudinally between the pivot ring (220) and the upstream end. A second elastomeric package (236) is disposed between the tubular body and the inner member (210) longitudinally between the pivot ring (220) and the downstream end.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DOWNHOLE TORQUE-TRANSFERRING BALL SCREW
A downhole tool has a main body that is cylindrical and includes a top coupling that couples to a drill string. A second body that is cylindrical is positioned at least partially within the main body. The second body has a bottom coupling that couples to a drill bit. Springs are positioned within the downhole tool and transmit an axial force to the drill bit. A first set of grooves is formed on an interior of the main body, and a second set of grooves is formed on an exterior of the second body. Balls travel within the first and second sets of grooves. At least some of the balls simultaneously engage the main body and the second body.

DRILL COUPLER FOR MITIGATING TORSIONAL VIBRATION
The present disclosure relates to coupler for connecting a drill pipe to a drill bit as well as methods for manufacturing the same. In particular, the present disclosure describes a coupler which includes a housing including a first connecting portion at a first end for connecting to a drill pipe, a base coupled to the housing and including a second connecting portion at a second end for connecting to a drill bit, and an intermediate component disposed between the base and the housing, wherein the coupler is configured for rotation about an axis during use, with the intermediate component allowing limited relative rotation between the housing and the base about the axis
Drill String Circulation Apparatus
A drill string circulation apparatus has a sleeve member with an elongated tubular body and a longitudinal bore, with an outer diameter suitable for being sealingly gripped by a blowout preventer. A drill string has an outer diameter sized to fit within the sleeve member bore, and has one or more seals disposed on an exterior surface. The seals are sized to create a seal between said sleeve member and the drill string, when the drill string and seals are positioned within the sleeve member bore, while said drill string is still capable of reciprocation and/or rotation within the sleeve member when the seals are within the sleeve member bore.

Dampers for mitigation of downhole tool vibrations
Systems and methods for damping torsional oscillations of downhole systems are described. The systems include a downhole string comprising a disintegration device and a damping system at least one of in and on the downhole string, the damping system configured to damp torsional oscillations of the downhole string. The methods include installing a damping system at least one of on and in the downhole system with the downhole system including a downhole string having a disintegration device and the damping system is configured to damp torsional oscillation of the downhole string.
Downhole swivel tool
The invention provides a swivel tool for use in a wellbore. The tool comprises a tool body and a mandrel which is axially moveable relative to the tool body. The tool also comprises a lock member moveable between a first condition in which the mandrel is rotatably movable relative to tool body and a second condition in which the mandrel and a tool body are rotationally coupled. The lock member is configured to move between the first condition and second condition in response to a mechanical axial force and rotational force on the mandrel.
DAMPERS FOR MITIGATION OF DOWNHOLE TOOL VIBRATIONS AND VIBRATION ISOLATION DEVICE FOR DOWNHOLE BOTTOM HOLE ASSEMBLY
A system for drilling a borehole into the earth's subsurface includes a drill bit configured to rotate and penetrate through the earth's subsurface, and a vibration isolation device configured to isolate vibration that is caused at the drill bit, the vibration having an amplitude. The amplitude of the vibration downhole of the vibration isolation device is at least 20% higher than the amplitude of the vibration uphole of the vibration isolation device.
Dampers for mitigation of downhole tool vibrations
Systems and methods for damping torsional oscillations of downhole systems are described. The systems include a damping system configured on the downhole system. The damping system includes a first element and a second element in frictional contact with the first element. The second element moves relative to the first element with a velocity that is a sum of a periodic velocity fluctuation having an amplitude and a mean velocity, wherein the mean velocity is lower than the amplitude of the periodic velocity fluctuation.
