Modular boost system for a jack
A modular boost system can be added to a jack to enable greater lift capacity of the jack. One example can involve a jack that is positionable at a well surface for moving a tubing string through a wellbore in a subterranean formation. The jack can include a frame and an adjustable plate that is alternately (i) attachable at a stationary location in the frame for fixing the adjustable plate at the stationary location or (ii) detachable from the stationary location in the frame to enable the adjustable plate to vertically move within the frame. A boost cylinder can be removably coupled to the adjustable plate and a base for selectively supplying an additional lift capability to the jack.
Assembly for supporting cables in deployed tubing
An assembly for supporting one or more cables in coiled tubing deployed in a well is described. The assembly includes a receptacle connected to an upper opening of the coiled tubing. A receptacle clamp is connected to the receptacle to provide a circumferential lateral extension surface. A separate extension column having a base portion is supported on the lateral extension surface. The extension column has an upper platform surface separated vertically from the base portion. A cable clamp is supported on the upper platform surface and configured to reversibly grip the one or more cables. The assembly is useful for any process requiring support of cables in coiled tubing deployed in a well, such as a process for assembling a heater for providing underground heat.

Catwalk tubular measurement and method of use
A carrier assembly for a catwalk assembly includes a carrier. The carrier assembly includes a skate to move a tubular member along the carrier. The carrier assembly includes a proximity sensor positioned to detect the end of the tubular member as it moves along the carrier. The carrier assembly includes a skate position sensor. The length of the tubular member may be determined by measuring the position of the skate relative to the proximity sensor when the end of the tubular member passes the proximity sensor.

Rope Tensioning System for Drilling Rig
A rotary drilling rig includes a vertical mast and a rotary head that can vertically move along the mast with respect to a work surface. To move the rotary head along the mast, a hydraulic feed actuator is connected with the rotary head via a wire rope feed system including a hoist rope and a pulldown rope. To maintain the hoist and pulldown ropes in tension and prevent them from dislodging from the respective pulleys of the wire rope system, the hoist and pulldown ropes can be connected to respective hoist and pulldown tensioning actuators. The hoist actuator can be associated with a hoist hydraulic circuit and the pulldown tensioning actuator can be associated with a separate pulldown hydraulic circuit.
TRANSPORTING EQUIPMENT AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN A CONDUIT AND/OR A PIPELINE
A system for transporting equipment and individuals within a conduit and/or a pipeline. The system includes a ground floor, a first floor, a connecting rod, an ovality compensation mechanism, a couple of holding arms at a top end of the system, and a winch. The ground floor and the first floor are configured to receive and keep an operator onto them. The ovality compensation mechanism is attached to a lower side of the first floor by utilizing a couple of connecting chains. The ovality compensation mechanism is configured to increase a diameter of a pipe segment of the pipeline.

A STABBING GUIDE AND AN OPERATING METHOD
A stabbing guide for tubulars, including a body; a plurality of guide members moveably supported by the body to receive a tubular and to move relative to the body between an open position and a closed position; and an actuation mechanism configured to be operated to move the plurality of guide members between the open and closed positions, wherein the body is configured to be held by a tubular connection tool.
OFFSHORE VESSEL AND METHOD OF OPERATION OF SUCH AN OFFSHORE VESSEL
An offshore vessel for performing offshore subsea wellbore related activities, for example for drilling a subsea wellbore includes a drilling tower. A method for drilling a subsea wellbore includes using an offshore vessel and a method for tripping a tubulars string is disclosed. The offshore vessel is provided with a hoisting system which has a first configuration, wherein a hoisting cable is connected to a working deck and a second configuration wherein said hoisting cable is connected to a traveling block. The system allows for efficient tripping in and tripping out.
