The micro core-drilling testing platform includes a lower tray, a middle tray, a hydraulic system, a stroke cylinder, a rock sample plate, a rock sample block, a pressure compensation device and a drilling rig. The drilling rig is configured to carry out core-drilling operation. The hydraulic system is configured to provide power for the drilling rig. The pressure compensation device is configured to balance the pressure inside the pressure chamber and the hydraulic system.
Apparatus and method for conveying a tool into and/or from a well installation
An apparatus (10; 110; 310) for conveying a tool (12; 112; 312) into and/or from a well installation (W) comprises a conveying arrangement (16; 116; 316) configured for coupling to a housing (14; 114; 314) for receiving the tool to be conveyed (12; 112; 312). The conveying arrangement (16; 116; 316) includes an actuator arrangement (28; 128; 328) configurable between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. The apparatus (10; 110; 310) is configured for location on a wellhead (WH) of the well installation (W), movement of the actuator arrangement (28; 128; 328) between the retracted configuration and the extended configuration moving the tool to be conveyed (12; 112; 312) into and/or from the housing (14; 114; 314) and thus into and/or from the well installation (W).
Deepwater subsea coiled tubing drilling rig
A deepwater subsea coiled tubing drilling rig includes a lifting rack having an upper rack and a lower rack which are sleeved with each other and connected by a lifting device. A working space is enclosed by the upper rack and the lower rack, and an underwater connecting and disconnecting tool is installed in the working space; the working space is transformed between a high-position large-space state for connecting and disconnecting through the tool and a low-position small-space state for the drilling process, along with the up-down movement of the upper rack. The upper rack is provided with an underwater coiled tubing system used for lowering and lifting a downhole tool combination, and the lower rack is provided with a wellhead device.
Plug retrieval and installation mechanism
A rigid chain actuator (201) including a tool body (203) having a bore (204) with a chain (206) at least partially disposed in a housing (211) coupled to the tool body. Additionally, the rigid chain actuator includes a chain extension/retraction mechanism to extend the chain from the housing into the bore and recoil the chain from the bore into the housing. Furthermore, the chain may translate a force onto at least one wellbore tool through the bore.
System for Remote Measurement of Ground Water Contamination Levels
The present disclosure provides a system and related methods for adapting groundwater monitoring wells and providing specially adapted aerial drones, with the adapted drones interacting with the modified monitoring wells to allow remote and even automated collection of ground water samples and/or data. The drones can be adapted either by provision of a contamination sensor or by carrying a payload of sample storage containers, and the monitoring wells can be configured to detect the approach of a drone and open automatically, or to have an injection point or even a matching sensor.
Subsea gas quality analysis
Apparatus for monitoring the quality of gas in a process stream at a subsea location comprises: a container for permanent installation at the location; one or more devices for analysing gas quality, said devices being located in the container; and means for supplying a sample of gas from the process stream to the said one or more devices; wherein the pressure within the container is maintained at or near to atmospheric pressure. The invention also extends to a method of monitoring the quality of gas in a process stream at a subsea location.

Method of inhibiting carbon dioxide hydrate formation
A method of inhibiting carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) hydrate formation in a CO.sub.2 pipeline is described. The method includes injecting a composition including monoethylene glycol carbon quantum dots (MEG CQDs) into the CO.sub.2 pipeline to deposit the MEG CQDs on an inside surface of the CO.sub.2 pipeline. The method further includes pressurizing the CO.sub.2 pipeline with a gas stream containing CO.sub.2 and water vapor at a pressure of 200-2,000 pounds per square inch (psi). The MEG CQDs are present on the inside surface of the CO.sub.2 pipeline in an amount effective to reduce the formation of CO.sub.2 hydrates in the CO.sub.2 pipeline during the pressurizing in comparison to the formation of the CO.sub.2 hydrates in the CO.sub.2 pipeline under the same conditions but in the absence of the MEG CQDs.
Subsea connection system for connecting a hot stab of a flowline to a subsea structure
A subsea connection system has a subsea structure with a flow channel therein and a port at one end of the flow channel, a stab having a flowline connected thereto, and a frame affixed to the stab. The stab is adapted to engage the port of the subsea structure so as to allow a fluid to flow from the flowline into the flow channel. The frame has a hook portion that is engageable with a tool hanger of the subsea structure so as to support the stab in alignment with the port. The frame is pivotable about the tool hanger so as to move the stab toward the port. An actuator is cooperative with the stab so as to move the stab between a retracted position and an extended position.
