SEALING PROFILE FOR CONCRETE TUBBING
A sealing profile for embedding in a moulded part made of curable material. Spalling observed in practice, which occur, in particular, at corners of tubbings in the area with an integrated seal, can be effectively prevented or at least reduced by using a sealing profile where the flanks of the profile base, which is embedded within the moulded part, e.g., concrete tubbing, merge with rounded portions or chamfers into the profile base face. In addition, the at least one anchoring foot is located within the profile base face and thus outside the area of the rounded portions.
Sealing profile for embedding into a moulding of curable material
A sealing profile for embedding into a moulding of curable material, in particular a concrete or plastic moulding, and to a sealing arrangement comprising such a sealing profile. The object of the present invention is to provide a sealing profile for embedding into a moulding of curable material that can be anchored into the moulding in particular such that displacements of the seal in its seat occur to a significantly lesser extent, if at all, when installing or assembling the mouldings. The object is achieved by a sealing profile (1) with a profile region (2) having a profile region surface (4) which is directed towards the moulding (3) after embedding the sealing profile (1), wherein the profile region (2) has, at least in one subregion (6), a non-woven, felted or random fibre layer (5) which is fixedly connected to the sealing profile (1) and which extend beyond the profile region surface (4).
Testing device for testing seals having anchoring feet
A testing device for testing seals, in particular tubbing seals, which seals have at least one anchoring foot. The testing device can be easily and cost-effectively adjusted to various seals by using plates with a recess, in which correspondingly configured plate elements are detachably inserted, so that different groove shapes scan be reproduced. The recess thus acts as a kind of “universal groove”, which can be adjusted to the respective geometry of the sealing profile to be tested by means of the plate elements, if necessary with the assistance of a curing or curable material.
DOUBLE WALLED TUBE SEGMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAID TUBE SEGMENT
A double-walled tube section for constructing a double-walled tube segment suitable for underpressure applications such as an evacuated tube transport system.
Device and Method for Accurately Fixing Internal Waterstop in Lakebed Tunnel
The invention discloses a device and a method for accurately fixing an internal waterstop in a lakebed tunnel, comprising two supporting bars arranged in parallel, two transverse clamping bars arranged in parallel between the supporting bars, vertical clamping bars arranged on the transverse clamping bars, wherein the supporting bars, the transverse clamping bars and the vertical clamping bars are mutually perpendicular, at least two vertical clamping bars are arranged on each transverse clamping bar, and the vertical clamping bars are arranged at the inner side of the transverse clamping bars. The beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: With vertical clamping bars that clamp the waterstop, the invention can limit the movement and rotational degree of freedom of the waterstop within in the space, to avoid displacement of the waterstop, thus making the construction more productive.
Water and/or fire resistant tunnel expansion joint systems
A fire and/or water resistant expansion joint system for installation between substrates of a tunnel. The system includes a fire resistant coating applied at a predetermined thickness to achieve a substantially uniform layer on the substrates and a fire and water resistant expansion joint. The expansion joint includes a core having an edge, wherein the substantially uniform layer of the coating extends along the substrates of the tunnel to the edge of the core, and a fire retardant infused into the core. The core is configured to facilitate the compression of the expansion joint system when installed between the substrates. The coating and the fire and water resistant expansion joint are each capable of withstanding exposure to a temperature of at least about 540° C. or greater for about five minutes.
TUNNEL LINING COMPOSED OF AT LEAST TWO CONCRETE ELEMENTS
The invention relates to a tunnel lining composed of at least two concrete elements (10) each having at least one protective element (20) connected to the concrete element, wherein the protective element (20) has a protective portion which has a first side which faces the concrete element (10) and on which there is provided at least one connecting element (17) for producing a retaining connection between the protective portion and the concrete element (10), wherein the protective portion consists of at least one plastic, wherein the protective element (20) has at least one protective element seal (30) which is connected to the protective portion (20), wherein the connection to the protective portion (20) is gas-tight and liquid-tight, wherein a joint (40) is present between the at least two concrete elements (10) arranged to form the tunnel lining (300), wherein the joint (40) is sealed in a gas-tight and liquid-tight manner with respect to the tunnel interior (100) by at least one protective element seal (30) having a sealing action (first sealing action), and wherein the tunnel lining (300) is provided with drainage (C) into the tunnel interior (100).
Double walled tube segment and method for producing said tube segment
A double-walled tube section for constructing a double-walled tube segment suitable for underpressure applications such as an evacuated tube transport system including elongated curved outer shell parts, interlayer shell parts and an inner wall. The elongated curved outer shell parts form the outer wall of the double-walled tube segment. The interlayer shell parts are of thin sheet and include a rectanqular portion having short edges and long edges and a flange on at least one of the short edges.
Fire resistant expansion joint systems
A fire resistant tunnel expansion joint system for installation between substrates of a tunnel. The system includes a fire protection barrier applied at a predetermined thickness to the substrates and a fire resistant tunnel expansion joint. The tunnel expansion joint includes a core and a fire retardant infused into the core. The core is configured to define a profile to facilitate the compression of the tunnel expansion joint when installed between the substrates. The fire protection barrier and the fire resistant tunnel expansion joint are each capable of withstanding exposure to a temperature of at least about 540° C. or greater for about five minutes.
