PREVENTING APPARATUS FOR CONCENTRATING OIL OF VEHICLE
20170276037 · 2017-09-28 · ·

A preventing apparatus for concentrating oil of a vehicle includes: a chamber disposed in an oil pan to enclose the surrounding of an oil strainer and having both sides provided with through holes through which oil inflows and outflows; and an oil blocking module disposed to be spaced apart from the through holes in the chamber and operated in an opposite direction to a turning direction of the vehicle when the vehicle turns in order to block one of the through holes of the chamber.

CRANKCASE OIL CATCHER WITH AN APERTURE AND SEAL

A crankcase oil catcher, the crankcase oil catcher comprising one or more surfaces configured to catch dispersed oil in a crankcase and direct the oil along the surfaces of the crankcase oil catcher away from a crankcase casing wall and towards a crank sump.

Lubricant Conducting Housing with a Separation Function and Recirculation
20170254238 · 2017-09-07 ·

A lubricant conducting member includes a lubricant conducting housing arranged between a crankcase and a lubricant collecting trough. The lubricant housing is surrounded by a bordering edge, and a projection of the bordering edge delimits an area in a plane parallel to a standing plane of the motor vehicle. A cumulative area of all of the lubricant passage openings is smaller than ⅓ of the area. In a perpendicular view, from the standing plane of the motor vehicle onto the lubricant conducting housing, in particular the view from below at least one lubricant passage opening, all lubricant passage openings are completely covered by the lubricant recirculation system.

OIL PAN ASSEMBLY

An internal combustion engine includes a bottomed box-shaped oil pan in which oil is stored. In addition, the internal combustion engine includes an oil pump configured to suck the oil in the oil pan and pressure-feed the oil to each part of the internal combustion engine. A suction pipe extends toward a bottom surface of the oil pan from the oil pump. A strainer is attached to a tip end of the suction pipe. A projection portion protrudes from a bottom surface which is one of inner wall surfaces defining an oil storing space inside the oil pan. The resonance frequency of the projection portion falls in the range of frequency of vibration that is generated at an engine rotational speed at which the internal combustion engine continues to operate independently.

Oil pan assembly

An internal combustion engine having at least twelve cylinders, comprising a crankcase and an oil pan assembly attached to a bottom side of an engine casing, wherein the oil pan assembly is formed by at least one casted segment. Oil pan

The invention relates to an oil sump (1) comprising a lower shell (2) intended for containing lubricating oil of an engine, in which a flow of oil, referred to as suction oil flow (I), is sucked up via a suction tube (44) to supply a lubricating circuit, and an oil flow, referred to as returning oil flow (II), falls into the oil sump (1). The oil sump (1) comprises an anti-emulsion plate (8) arranged located at the mouth of the suction tube (44) during a transitional period in which the temperature of the oil is lower than an optimal operating temperature.

Oil pan assembly

An oil pan assembly having an oil pan and an intake pipe attached to a bottom of an engine block is provided. The oil pan assembly includes an inner plate mounted to the oil pan so as to be disposed between the oil pan and a bottom surface of the engine block. The inner plate is configured to slow the flow of oil to an intake pipe so as to provide additional time for entrained oil to de-areate.

Fluid distribution assembly having anti-clog inlet housing

A fluid distribution assembly for distributing a fluid, the fluid distribution assembly includes an inlet housing including a first conduit and a bypass conduit; a chip detector cavity in fluid communication with the first conduit such that the fluid can pass through the first conduit into the chip detector cavity; and an outlet housing in fluid communication with the chip detector cavity and the bypass conduit such that the fluid can pass into the outlet housing through the chip detector cavity and/or the bypass conduit.
