Electromagnetic valve
To provide an electromagnetic valve that can prevent damage due to wear of a valve element and a case of a solenoid, or occurrence of a striking sound when a valve is opened. An electromagnetic valve includes a solenoid having a case, a flow path member, and a columnar valve element that is housed in the valve element housing portion of the flow path member and moves with a plunger of the solenoid to open and close a flow path. A first seat member in contact with the plunger is disposed on the valve element, and a second seat member in contact with the plunger is disposed on the case of the solenoid. An elastic modulus of the first seat member is larger than an elastic modulus of the valve element, and an elastic modulus of the second seat member is smaller than an elastic modulus of the case.
POLLUTION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR DIESEL ENGINE
A pollution control system for a diesel engine includes a PCV valve and an associated vacuum pump having an inlet and an outlet adapted to vent blow-by gas out from a crankcase to an intake manifold on the diesel engine. The vacuum pump associated with the PCV valve selectively modulates vacuum pressure to adjustably increase or decrease a fluid flow rate of blow-by gas venting from the crankcase through the PCV valve.
POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION SYSTEMS AND ENGINE SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE SAME
An engine system comprises an intake manifold including a manifold body downstream of an intake port and having a first through-aperture and a second through-apertures spaced apart from the first through-aperture on the manifold body; a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system including a first PCV branch and a second PCV branch communicated fluidly with the first through-aperture and the second through-aperture of the manifold body, respectively, and configured to route a blow-by gas in a crankcase to the intake manifold; and a variable valve assembly to regulate a flow passing through the first or second PCV branches.
Increasing crankcase ventilation flow rate via active flow control
Methods and systems are provided for coordinating throttle bypass flows from brake booster vacuum reservoir, a fuel vapor purge system, and a crankcase ventilation system via active, electrical control of a crankcase ventilation valve. In one example, a method may include actively opening the crankcase ventilation valve to allow crankcase ventilation flow into the engine during conditions in which doing so will not result in engine air flow rate and/or engine fuel flow rate exceeding desired rates. Priority is given first to brake booster replenishment, then to fuel vapor purging, and then to crankcase ventilation during conditions where all three throttle bypass flows are desired.
Valve
A valve for controlling at least one first flow of at least one fluid, in particular, within a motor vehicle, along a first fluid path from at least one valve inlet to at least one valve outlet, comprising at least one valve seat that is arranged—with regard to the fluid flow—between the valve inlet and the valve outlet, wherein the valve seat can be closed at least in some regions in at least one closed position by means of at least one valve member.
ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE
To prevent a decrease in operating accuracy of a valve element by scraping off a deposit from the inside of a valve element housing portion and preventing sticking and accumulation of the deposit. An electromagnetic valve includes a solenoid, a flow path member, and a columnar valve element that is housed in a valve element housing portion of the flow path member and moves with a plunger of the solenoid to open and close a flow path. The valve element has a first guide portion provided along the circumferential direction on one side in the axial direction, and a second guide portion which is provided to be separated from the first guide portion on the other side in the axial direction and protrudes outward in the radial direction. Both the first guide portion and the second guide portion are guided to an inner peripheral surface of the valve element housing portion when the valve element moves.
Electromagnetic valve and valve device
An electromagnetic valve includes a mover that is able to move in a predetermined direction. The mover includes a valve body part including a valve body base part and an annular elastic body. The valve body base part includes a large diameter part and a small diameter part connected via a step difference. The annular elastic body includes a first contact surface, a second contact surface in contact with a step difference surface in the step difference, and a sealing projecting part that is able to come into contact with a peripheral edge part of an opening part of a first flow path in the predetermined direction. The sealing projecting part surrounds the opening part when seen in the predetermined direction. The sealing projecting part, the second contact surface, and the step difference surface are at least partially superimposed on each other when seen in the predetermined direction.
ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE
An electromagnetic valve includes a solenoid with a bobbin, a plunger, a yoke, and a coil, a flow path assembly including a first flow path, a second flow path, and a valve housing portion, and a valve that switches between an open state and a closed state between the first flow path and the second flow path. The plunger includes a passage that extends along an axial direction, and that opens toward another axial side to communicate with a gap between the plunger and the yoke, and an opening that opens radially outward from the passage to allow the passage communicating with the gap to communicate with the valve housing portion through the passage. The electromagnetic valve further includes a regulator to regulate a radially outward flow of a fluid flowing out from the passage into the gap at least in the open state.
VALVE DEVICE
A valve device includes a flow channel member having a first flow channel, and an electromagnetic valve having a movable piece movable in a predetermined direction and being capable of opening and closing the first flow channel. The flow channel member has an annular protrusion surrounding an opening of the first flow channel. A valve body of the movable piece has a valve body base having a large diameter part and a small diameter part connected to the large diameter part with a step therebetween, and an annular elastic body surrounding the small diameter part and attached to the valve body base. The annular elastic body has a first contact surface contacting a surface of a flange of the small diameter part, a second contact surface contacting a step surface of the step, and a seal surface able to contact the annular protrusion.
