Cam actuated gas admission valve with electro-hydraulic trim control
A gas engine is disclosed. The gas engine may include a combustion cylinder. The combustion cylinder may include an intake with an intake valve. The combustion cylinder may include an exhaust with an exhaust valve. The gas engine may include a gas admission valve assembly coupled to the intake. The gas admission assembly may include a trimmable electro-hydraulically actuatable gas admission valve to control a gas flow into the intake.
Engine
An engine includes a cylinder internal pressure sensor, a torque sensor, and an engine control device. The cylinder internal pressure sensor detects a cylinder internal pressure. The torque sensor detects an engine load. The engine control device receives a detection result of the cylinder internal pressure sensor and a detection result of the torque sensor. If the load detected by the torque sensor is zero (no load) and the cylinder internal pressure obtained from the detection result of the cylinder internal pressure sensor is greater than or equal to a threshold, the engine control device determines that an abnormality occurs in detection by the torque sensor.
LARGE TWO-STROKE COMPRESSION-IGNITED INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM FOR LOW FLASHPOINT FUEL AND A FUEL VALVE THEREFORE
A large two-stroke turbocharged compression-ignited internal combustion crosshead engine with a plurality of cylinders has at least one pressure booster for each cylinder for boosting fuel pressure, two or more electronically controlled fuel valves for each cylinder with an inlet of the two or more electronically controlled fuel valves being connected to an outlet of the at least one pressure booster. An electronic control unit is connected to the at least one pressure booster and the two or more electronically controlled fuel valves. The electronic control unit is configured to determine a start time for a fuel injection event, activate the at least one pressure booster ahead of the determined start time and pen the two or more electronically controlled fuel valves at the determined start time.
Engine device
An engine device including an intake manifold configured to supply air into a cylinder; an exhaust manifold configured to output exhaust gas from the cylinder; a gas injector which mixes a gaseous fuel with the air supplied from the intake manifold; and a main fuel injection valve configured to inject a liquid fuel into the cylinder for combustion. At the time of switching from a gas mode in which the gaseous fuel is supplied into the cylinder to a diesel mode in which the liquid fuel is supplied into the cylinder, a supply-start timing of the liquid fuel is delayed relative to a supply-stop timing of the gaseous fuel.

Methods and systems for reducing catalyst cooling during fuel cut via pre-chamber ignition system
Methods and systems are provided for transferring hot, compressed gases from one cylinder to another cylinder while fuel injection in both cylinders is deactivated. In one example, a method may include during a fuel shut-off event, opening a first pre-chamber injector of the first cylinder undergoing late compression or early expansion and opening a second pre-chamber injector of the second cylinder undergoing a late expansion and/or exhaust stroke or undergoing an intake stroke to allow a hot, compressed gas from the first cylinder to transfer to the second cylinder through the first and second pre-chamber injectors.

ENGINE
An engine (21) including a cylinder internal pressure sensor (63), a torque sensor (64), and an engine control device (73). The cylinder internal pressure sensor (63) detects a cylinder internal pressure. The torque sensor (64) detects an engine load. The engine control device (73) receives a detection result of the cylinder internal pressure sensor (63) and a detection result of the torque sensor (64). If the load detected by the torque sensor (64) is zero (no load) and the cylinder internal pressure obtained from the detection result of the cylinder internal pressure sensor (63) is greater than or equal to a threshold, the engine control device (73) determines that an abnormality occurs in detection by the torque sensor (64).
