Speed control for a mobile machine
A mobile machine includes an internal combustion engine operatively connected to a plurality of propulsion devices for travel over a work surface. The mobile machine can include an electronic controller that receives condition data signals indicative of the operating state or condition of the mobile machine from a plurality of condition input sensors. The electronic controller compares the condition data signals with condition threshold to determine whether to operate the internal combustion engine in accordance with rated engine speed range or an adjusted engine speed range.

CONTROL SYSTEM OF FUEL INJECTION FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE PROVIDED WITH A LINE OF FUEL RETURN
Electronic fuel injection control system for an internal combustion engine, the internal combustion engine being equipped with at least one fuel feeding line provided with a fuel tank, at least one throttle valve, at least one injector, at least one fuel pump, at least one fuel return line having at least one solenoid valve, at least one first fuel return duct that connects the injector to the solenoid valve, at least one overpressure valve, at least one second return conduit adapted to connect the overpressure valve and the solenoid valve with the tank, wherein the fuel return line is provided with at least one calibrator allowing at least the state of said fuel pump and relative performances thereof to be verified.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRIVE TRAIN FOR A MOBILE VEHICLE
With a torque-controlled internal combustion engine and a variable-speed transmission having fixed shift gear ratios, during a shift, the internal combustion engine is controlled in such manner that the drive output torque of the transmission remains the same before and after the shift.
Work Machine, Power Unit, and Diesel Engine of Work Machine
Provided are a work machine, a power unit, and a diesel engine of a work machine that make it possible to reduce emitted noxious substances to levels below reference values stipulated by exhaust gas regulations in advanced countries and regions while also omitting or simplifying a post-treatment device. A hydraulic pump is driven by a diesel engine that limits maximum output torque in a low revolution speed region lower than a high revolution speed region including a rated revolution speed in such a manner that the maximum output torque has a characteristic of intermediate torque lower than torque of a maximum output horsepower point at the rated revolution speed, and a hydraulic actuator is driven by hydraulic fluid delivered from the hydraulic pump.
Handheld work apparatus
A handheld work apparatus has a combustion engine (4) for driving a tool. The combustion engine (4) has an ignition device, a device for metering fuel and a control device (31). The control device (31) engages when an engagement speed (n.sub.E1, n.sub.E2) is reached, in order to limit the speed (n) of the combustion engine (4). In order to allow the speed (n) to be set in an easy manner at full throttle, the work apparatus has a device for setting the engagement speed (n.sub.E2) by the user.
Prime Mover Control Device of Work Vehicle
A prime mover control device of a work vehicle equipped with a torque converter includes: a speed ratio calculation unit that calculates a speed ratio of the torque converter; and a rotational speed limit unit that, when a speed ratio falls within a preset speed ratio range, limits a maximum rotational speed of the prime mover to be lower as compared with a maximum rotational speed set when a speed ratio falls without the preset speed ratio range. When a state in which the speed ratio calculated by the speed ratio calculation unit falls within the preset speed ratio range is maintained for a predetermined time period, the rotational speed limit unit changes a maximum rotational speed of the prime mover to a higher maximum rotational speed than the limited maximum rotational speed limited to be lower by the rotational speed limit unit.
INTEGRATED STARTER-GENERATOR
A method for remotely controlling the operation of a gas powered golf car, wherein the method comprises, via a global positioning system enhanced fleet management system (GPSEFMS) of the golf car communicatively connected with an internal combustion engine control unit (ECU) and a global position sensor of the golf car: monitoring a location of the golf car as the golf car is moving utilizing geospatial position data communicated from a global position sensor of the golf car to the GPSEFMS; determining when the golf car is one of near or within a geofenced area; and sending control commands to the ECU instructing the ECU to modify operation of the internal combustion engine, and hence operation of the golf car, in accordance with a predetermined operation profile specific to the geofenced area.
JET PROPELLED WATERCRAFT
A jet propelled watercraft includes a reverse gate that moves to a first position and to a second position. When the reverse gate is in the first position, the reverse gate causes a vessel body to move forward. When the reverse gate is in the second position, the reverse gate causes the vessel body to decelerate or move backward. A velocity mode selector is used to select a normal mode or a velocity mode. The velocity mode has a maximum velocity different from that of the normal mode. When the reverse gate is in the second position and the velocity mode is selected, a controller is configured or programmed to set an upper limit of an engine rotation speed in the velocity mode to be different from that of the engine rotation speed in the normal mode.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A target reaching rotational speed set during a torque phase is set to a value higher than an actual engine rotational speed, the value being higher as one of a vehicle acceleration and an engine rotational speed gradient is larger. That is, as the acceleration is steeper, the target reaching rotational speed is set to a value closer to an upper limit rotational speed or rotational speeds proximate thereto. Thus, a display rotational speed displayed on a tachometer at the end of the torque phase becomes high rotational speed. Accordingly, there is provided a display control device for a vehicle that enables a driver to feel the use of engine performance to the limit.
