Fuel system for a vehicle

A vehicle includes a prime mover and a fuel system. The fuel system includes a tank, a regulator, a first shutoff valve, and a second shutoff valve. The tank is configured to provide a supply flow of fuel. The regulator is controllable to provide a regulated flow of fuel to the prime mover by modulating the supply flow of fuel. The first shutoff valve is positioned to facilitate selectively disengaging the prime mover from the fuel system. The second shutoff valve is positioned to facilitate selectively blocking the supply flow of fuel provided by the tank.

A gas ultrasonic transducer system for operating a diesel common-rail engine, comprises an electronic control unit; a water tank; a gas tank with gas supply shut-off valve; a gas level sensor; a gas pump operably connected with the gas tank; a water pump operably connected with the water tank; a mixer comprising a water level sensor and an ultrasonic transducer adapted to generate water vapor and gas mixture; wherein the mixer comprises two compartments: the upper compartment and the lower compartment, the means for separation of the upper and the lower compartments comprising an anti-reflux valve adapted to allow water vapor from the lower compartment to pass through the anti-reflux valve to the upper compartment and to prevent any liquid water from flowing into the upper compartment wherein the upper compartment of the mixer comprises an outlet operably connected with engine intake manifold; wherein the outlet of the gas pump is operably connected with the upper compartment of the mixer, the outlet of the water pump is operably connected with lower compartment of the mixer, where the ultrasonic transducer is located below the anti-reflux valve. The controlled interaction between elements of the system and vehicle elements results in a gas-water vapor mixture. In case of embodiment with dual fuel, the water gas mixture is calculated on the grounds of information received by the electronic control unit of the system from the engine common-rail, the engine temperature sensor, the air flow meter sensor, the acceleration pedal block.

The engine module comprises: a mixer for mixing and discharging the air and fuel; a supercharging means for receiving the mixture discharged from the mixer, compressing same, and then discharging same; an intercooler for receiving the mixture compressed in the supercharging means, cooling same by a heat exchange method, increasing the density thereof, and then discharging same; an adjustment means for receiving the mixture discharged from the intercooler, adjusting the quantity thereof, and then supplying same to the engine; and an exhaust gas heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a coolant and exhaust gas discharged from the engine, wherein the exhaust gas heat exchanger is directly connected to an exhaust manifold of the engine.

Disclosed herein are novel systems and methods for performing the following: decomposing water into hydrogen by using low-power consumption electrolysis, converting orthohydrogen into parahydrogen by using vibrational frequency, converting parahydrogen into atomic hydrogen, and mixing converted atomic hydrogen with combustible gas. The system uses a unique low-power hydrogen production cell to perform electrolysis on water. Hydrogen output from the production cell runs through coils under vibrational frequency to optimally convert orthohydrogen to parahydrogen. The system further comprises a magnetic reactor that is used to convert parahydrogen into atomic hydrogen, which is in turn mixed with combustible gas to create an eco-friendly fuel.

An apparatus for filling a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicle with LPG may include an auxiliary chamber disposed in an LPG bombe of the LPG vehicle, an auxiliary injection line branched from a fuelling line extending to the LPG bombe from a fuel inlet port for connection to the auxiliary chamber, a solenoid valve mounted in the auxiliary injection line to selectively allow or block a flow of LPG to the auxiliary chamber, a temperature sensor to detect a temperature in the bombe, and a controller to control the solenoid valve to be opened when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is equal to or higher than a critical temperature.
