The invention relates to a nozzle needle (10) for a fuel injection device (100), in particular a fuel injector, comprising a nozzle needle tip (12) which is connected to a nozzle needle shaft (11). The nozzle needle tip (12) and the nozzle needle shaft (11) consist of different materials. According to the invention, the nozzle needle shaft (11) has a receiving area (20) formed by a blind bore (21) for the nozzle needle tip (12). The base (22) of the receiving area (20) forms an axial stop for the nozzle needle tip (12), and the nozzle needle tip (12) has an at least approximately constant diameter (d) within the receiving area (20), said diameter simultaneously forming the largest diameter of the nozzle needle tip (12).

A movable core is driven by a magnetic attraction force with a fixed core to move a valve body to inject fuel. A yoke accommodates the fixed core. A coil is in a coil chamber between the fixed core and the yoke. The coil chamber is filled with a filling resin member being electrically insulative. The fixed core has a core facing surface facing the movable core and includes a protruding portion that protrudes radially outer side and is in contact with the yoke to conduct the magnetic flux. A resin molding flow channel is formed in the protruding portion to cause molten resin serving as the filling resin member to flow into the coil chamber. A length of the protruding portion along a cylinder center line is set to be shorter toward a radially outer side.

Fuel injector

A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The fuel injector is particularly suitable for use as a dual fuel injector, and comprises a generally tubular outer valve needle, an inner valve needle slidably received in the outer valve needle, and a nozzle body assembly comprising a tip part and a needle guide part. The tip part defines a seating region for the outer valve needle, and the needle guide part comprises a guide bore for slidably receiving the outer valve needle. In one embodiment, a lower bore region of the needle guide part defines a cavity around the outer valve needle which houses a biasing spring for the outer valve needle and a fuel. A collar for seating the biasing spring can be dimensioned to allow free flow of the fuel from the cavity into an annular accumulator volume defined between the outer valve needle and the bore of the tip part.

Rods for increasing pressure within an oil reservoir of an engine are described. In some embodiments, the rod includes a front end with a front flange and a rear end with a rear flange to assist with centering the rod within the oil cavity. The rod may be comprised of a front section that removably attaches to a rear section via a connector screw and the connector screw may be long enough to prevent the connector screw from backing out when the rod is in the oil cavity. Methods of using and installing the rod are also described.

FUEL INJECTION DEVICE

It is possible to prevent a change in the spray pattern and injection flow rate and an increase of particulate matters in the exhaust gas due to residual fuel left in the vicinity of an injection hole outlet carbonized and adhered as deposit. A fuel injection valve includes a displaceable valve body, a valve seat surface that touches the valve body, and an injection hole cup including at least one injection hole formed on the valve body's tip end side and beyond where the valve seat surface touches the valve body. The injection hole cup includes a low lipophilic portion and a lipophilic portion formed on the injection hole cup's surface, the lipophilic portion is formed inside at least a part of a range in which the low lipophilic portion is formed, and at least one portion of the low lipophilic portion is connected to the injection hole's end portion.
