Multipart insulating element, in particular for a fuel injection device
An insulating element for a fuel injection apparatus is notable in particular for the fact that a low-noise design is achieved. The fuel injection apparatus encompasses at least one fuel injection valve and one receiving bore in a cylinder head for the fuel injection valve, and the insulating element between a valve housing of the fuel injection valve and a wall of the receiving bore. The insulating element possesses an inner insulating ring that is present in encapsulated fashion between an outer ring and an inner ring. The outer ring is directed toward the fuel injection valve and the inner ring is directed toward the wall of the receiving bore, so that corresponding abutment of these components occurs with the insulating element in the installed state. The fuel injection apparatus is suitable in particular for direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing spark-ignited internal combustion engine.
Valve for metering a fluid
A fluid metering valve includes a valve-seat surface; a valve closing element that interacts with the valve-seat surface in order to form a sealing seat; an electromagnetic actuator; a valve needle used for operating the valve-closing element; an armature that is guided on the valve needle and is used for opening or closing the sealing seat; at least one stop that is disposed on, and stationary relative to, the valve needle and that restricts a movement of the armature on the valve needle; and at least one damping element that is configured to provide a damping during the opening or closing of the sealing seat, has a volume that is able to be filled with a fluid medium, is configured such that a fluid medium can be exchanged between the volume and an environment of the damping element, and is configured for volume changes of the volume in order to enable the damping.
VALVE FOR METERING A FLUID, CONNECTION PIECE FOR A VALVE, AND FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
A connection piece for a valve, which is utilized for metering a fluid, includes a sealing section, on which at least one annular sealing element is situated. The annular sealing element circumferentially surrounds the sealing section with respect to a longitudinal axis. Furthermore, the annular sealing element is supported on an end of the sealing section with the aid of a support ring. The sealing section has a circumference increasing along the longitudinal axis at least in an area along the longitudinal axis in which the annular sealing element surrounds the sealing section.

A connection piece for a valve, which is for metering a fluid, includes a sealing section, on which at least one annular sealing element is situated. The annular sealing element circumferentially surrounds the sealing section with respect to a longitudinal axis. In the connection piece, at least one support ring is situated on the sealing section, the support ring at least partially circumferentially surrounds the sealing section with respect to the longitudinal axis, the sealing section is configured, at least in one area along the longitudinal axis, in which the support ring surrounds the sealing section at least during operation, to have a circumference increasing in a direction along the longitudinal axis, and the support ring and the sealing section are configured so that, during operation, the support ring is displaceable in the direction in relation to the sealing section due to a fluid pressure of the fluid.
Fuel injector clip
In some examples, a clip prevents relative rotation between a fuel injector and an injector cup of a fuel rail. For instance, the fuel injector may be rotated following insertion into the injector cup to prevent removal of the fuel injector. The clip includes a clip body having a pair of arms extending from the clip body with an opening between the arms for receiving the fuel injector. A tab extends from the clip body into the opening for engaging a first alignment slot in the injector cup and a second alignment slot in the fuel injector when the clip is installed on the fuel injector. Following installation of the clip on the fuel injector, the tab is disposed in the first and second alignment slots to prevent relative rotation between the fuel injector and the injector cup.
Plunger fuel pump for an internal combustion engine
A plunger fuel pump for an internal combustion engine includes a pump cylinder and a pump plunger that is axially displaceable in the pump cylinder. The plunger fuel pump has a seal with an annular basic structure arranged around the circumference of the pump plunger. The seal is produced by injection molding in an axial injection direction.
