Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines
The invention relates to a fuel injection valve comprising a housing (1) in which pressure is applied to a nozzle needle (8), in a control chamber (28), at least indirectly with a closing force in the direction of a valve seat (10). The pressure in the control chamber (28) can be adjusted using a control valve (40) as said control chamber (28) is able to be connected to a low pressure chamber (46) via an outlet restrictor (31) and be filled with fuel at high pressure via an inlet restrictor (30). A longitudinally-displaceable control piston (29) is arranged in the control chamber (28) and divides said chamber (28) into a first control sub-chamber and a second control sub-chamber (228), the first control sub-chamber (128) being able to be connected to the low pressure chamber (46) by means of said outlet restrictor (31). A sealing surface (38) is formed on the control piston (29) and interacts with a sealing seat (39) in the control chamber (28) such that the inlet restrictor (30) is hydraulically disconnected from the second control sub-chamber (228) when the sealing surface (38) comes to rest against the sealing seat (39). Said first control sub-chamber (128) and second control sub-chamber (228) are constantly hydraulically interconnected by means of a restrictor connection (34).
Fuel injector
A fuel injector includes a control valve assembly arranged between an actuator assembly and a nozzle assembly. A 3-way valve controls flow for filling or draining a control chamber through a first throttle and through a second throttle for enabling or preventing fuel injection. The second throttle is a through orifice provided in a plate arranged in the control chamber.

INJECTOR HAVING STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF REDUCING REQUIRED INSERTION FORCE AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
An injector system includes a structure capable of reducing a maximum required insertion force which is generated when a plurality of injectors each provided with an O-ring are simultaneously assembled into respective injector insertion holes in a dual-point injection (DPI) engine system. The injector system of an engine includes a plurality of injectors mounted to a single intake port having injector insertion holes and inserted into respective injector insertion holes. The plurality of injectors comprise a first injector and a second injector. An O-ring and a back-up ring are mounted to each of the first and second injectors. An axial length of the back-up ring mounted to the first injector is different from an axial length of the back-up ring mounted to the second injector.
Fuel injector
A fuel injector, preferably a dual fuel injector, for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The fuel injector comprises first and second valve needles (80, 100) arranged to control the injection of first and second fuels, first and second control chambers (88, 10) associated with the first and second valve needles (80, 100) respectively, a first control valve (26) comprising a first control valve member (48) and arranged to vary the pressure of a control fluid in the first control chamber (88) so as to cause opening and closing movement of the first valve needle (80), and a second control valve (28) comprising a second control valve member (60) and arranged to vary the control fluid 10 pressure in the second control chamber (110) so as to cause opening and closing movement of the second valve needle (100). The first and second control valve members (48, 60) are arranged for linear movement along a common control valve axis.
Method for regulating a common-rail injector
A method for regulating a common rail injector, the method including acquiring a signal of a sensor, which signal is proportional to a pressure in a valve space of the common rail injector; evaluating a change in the signal over time in order to detect at least one operating event of the common rail injector; and modifying at least one operating variable of the common rail injector as a function of the at least one operating event, the at least one operating variable being selected from an opening duration, a closing duration, an opening point in time, and a closing point in time of a switching valve of the common rail injector, and from an opening duration, an opening point in time, and a closing point in time of a needle valve of the common rail injector.
