Tank system
A tank system for a construction machine includes a fuel tank having an outer tank wall that closes off a tank volume to the outside, a withdrawal tank volume, which is separated by a partition wall from a main tank volume of the tank volume and has a fuel-exchanging connection to the main tank volume, and a fuel withdrawal arrangement having a main fuel pump and a withdrawal line opening into the withdrawal tank volume for conveying fuel by the main fuel pump via the withdrawal line from the withdrawal tank volume to a fuel-consuming system region. The tank system also includes a fuel feed arrangement having an auxiliary fuel pump for conveying fuel from the main tank volume into the withdrawal tank volume.
Fuel supply system
A remote fuel supply system comprising a fuel transfer unit for managing the flow of fuel from a remote fuel tank and onboard auxiliary tank to an engine. The system may include an engine unit comprising an onboard auxiliary tank, a remote fuel supply unit comprising a remote fuel tank, and a fuel transfer unit. The fuel transfer unit may include a housing featuring multiple inlets for receiving fresh fuel from the fuel supply unit and unburnt fuel from the engine unit, and the housing may include multiple outlets connected to diverter valves for selectively transferring fuel to the engine unit from the fuel supply sources; namely, the fresh fuel from the fuel supply unit and/or the unburnt fuel from the engine unit.
Methods and systems for fuel level indicators in a saddle fuel tank
Methods and systems are provided for diagnosing fuel level indicators in a saddle fuel tank. In one example, a method may include determining degradation of each of the first and the second fuel level indicators included in a first compartment and a second compartment of a saddle tank based on a correlation between changes in fuel tank pressure during the refueling event and an indication by the fuel level indicators of the first and the second compartment reaching full capacity.
Fuel supply device
The fuel supply device has a module installed in a fuel tank. The module has a cap and a support pillar arranged between the cap and a bottom of the fuel tank. The cap is supporting a valve relevant to ventilation of the fuel tank. The valve is supported by a base portion. The base portion and a large diameter part are connected by snap-fit mechanisms. The valve and the base portion are connected by snap-fit mechanisms. A hook part is arranged in an engaging window. It is possible to inspect the valve through the engaging window.
Fuel-conveying system for use in a vehicle
A fuel-conveying system includes: a primary fuel pump, configured to supply fuel to an internal combustion engine of a vehicle, at a fuel pressure; a suction jet pump configured to convey fuel from a first region of a fuel tank of the vehicle to a second region of the fuel tank, the at least one suction jet pump having a nozzle; and a secondary fuel pump, decoupled from the primary fuel pump and configured to: supply, as required, the suction jet pump with a fuel jet, and set, independently of the primary fuel pump, a pressure of the fuel jet before the nozzle of the suction jet pump.
Method and assembly for delivering fuel in a fuel tank
The present disclosure is related to a method and an assembly for delivering fuel in a fuel tank (10), wherein the fuel tank comprises at least a first chamber (12) having a module pot (18) disposed therein and at least a first pump (30) adapted to deliver fuel from the first chamber to the module pot, and wherein a fuel pump (20) for delivering fuel to an engine is disposed within the module pot. In order to minimize the duty cycle of the pumps and therefore the energy consumption, it is proposed according to the present disclosure that a sensor device (22) is used to detect a predetermined minimum fill level in the module pot, wherein the pump disposed in the first chamber is activated when the minimum fill level is reached and is deactivated after a predetermined time interval or when a predetermined higher fill level in the module pot is reached.
Work vehicle
A work vehicle including a tank (31,131) formed so as to extend from a rear part of a vehicle body toward a center, wherein the tank includes: a first storage tank (32) located on the rear side of the vehicle body, and stores stored fluid (9); a second storage tank (34) located on a side close to the center in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, and stores the fluid; a partition part (36) that separates the first storage tank and the second storage tank; a discharge member (49) that has a discharge opening (49a) extending and opened inside the second storage tank, and discharges, from the second storage tank, the fluid stored in the second storage tank; and a hollow tube member (60) that has a first end communicated with the first storage tank through the partition part so as to enable the stored fluid to flow, and a second end having a hollow tube opening (62) extending and opened toward the center of the vehicle body inside the second storage tank, wherein the hollow tube opening of the hollow tube member is located on the central side of the vehicle body with respect to the discharge opening of the discharge member.
Fuel Tank Fastening Assembly for a Motorcycle, and Motorcycle Assembly
A fuel tank fastening assembly for a motorcycle includes a fuel tank, a holding bracket secured to the fuel tank, and a battery carrier. The holding bracket is fastened to a mount on the battery carrier. A motorcycle assembly includes the fuel tank fastening assembly and a motorcycle frame. The battery carrier of the fuel tank fastening assembly is fastened to the motorcycle frame, and a battery is accommodated and secured in the battery carrier.
Fluid conveying device
A fluid-conveying device for conveying a fluid from a tank includes: a first fluid-conveying pump; a swirl pot; and a second fluid-conveying pump having a drive region and a conveying region coupled to the drive region. The fluid is conveyable from the swirl pot by the first fluid-conveying pump, and the conveying region is configured and arranged so as to be drivable by the drive region.
