Control method of high-pressure fuel supply pump and high-pressure fuel supply pump using the same
A control method of a fuel supply pump includes moving an anchor in the closing valve direction by passing a maximum drive current through the solenoid, and thereafter holding the anchor at a closing valve position by passing a holding current for keeping a closing valve state through the solenoid. The holding current is smaller than the maximum drive current. A current value of a first drive current is smaller than a current value of the holding current. A current value of a second drive current overlaps a range of the current value of the holding current. A current value of a third driving current is equal to or more than the current value of the holding current.
Fuel injector for engine
A fuel injector for an engine includes: a solenoid unit including a plurality of solenoids that can be separately controlled; a valve body having a control chamber connected with a supply throttle and a return throttle; and a plurality of armatures disposed between the solenoid unit and the valve body to be able to adjust the amount of fuel that is discharged through the return throttle by being driven by the solenoids of the solenoid unit.
Valve for metering a fluid
A valve for metering a fluid, for example, a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine, includes a valve-seat face, an electromagnetic actuator including an armature that includes a through-flow channel that opens with an outlet opening at an end face of the armature, a valve needle on which the armature is movably supported and that is operable using the armature, a valve-closing member that is actuatable by the valve needle and that cooperates with the valve-seat face to form a sealing seat, and a stop element that is mounted fixedly on the valve needle and that interacts with the at least one outlet opening of the at least one through-flow channel such that throttling takes place with respect to the least one through-flow channel when the armature is located with its end face at the stop element.
HERMETICALLY SEALED STATOR COIL
A stator coil assembly is provided comprising: a stator having a stator core; a cover positioned within the stator core; a top section coupled to the cover to define an interior region, the top section including a pair of protrusions, each protrusion having a bore extending therethrough; a bobbin disposed within the interior region; a plurality of coil windings wrapped around the bobbin; a pair of lead wires, each lead wire extending through a corresponding protrusion bore and connecting to the coil windings within the interior region; and a pair of hermetic seals, each hermetic seal surrounding a corresponding lead wire within a protrusion bore to hermetically seal the interior region.
Valve for metering a fluid
A fluid metering valve includes a valve needle that is actuatable by an electromagnetic actuator that includes an armature guided on and along a longitudinal axis of the valve needle with a movement limited by a stop surface on the valve needle. A projection of an edge of the stop surface extends into a projection plane, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and at which the armature and stop surface are in contact temporarily during operation, through an opening of a conduit of the armature, dividing the opening into an inner surface on one side of the projection and an outer surface on the other side of the projection. A fluid exchange between inside and outside of an area between the stop surface and armature is via a path through the inner surface, conduit, and outer surface when the armature is in contact with the stop surface at the projection plane.
Digital inlet valve
A digital inlet valve is the complementary assembly of an armature module, a body module and an actuation module enabling direct control over an air gap between a magnetic armature and a pole piece body.
Valve for metering a fluid
A valve for metering a fluid. An armature of the electromagnetic actuator is movable along a longitudinal axis of a valve needle, the movement of the armature relative to the valve needle being limited by a stop surface on the valve needle. The armature has a passage channel. The stop surface is on a stop element. The stop element and the armature are such that during operation there always remains an intermediate space, adjoining the valve needle, between the stop element and an end face of the armature facing the stop element. The stop surface lies, in a contact region, on the end surface of the armature facing the stop element when the armature and the stop surface come into contact during operation, the contact region being situated between the intermediate space and an opening of the passage channel when the armature and the stop surface come into contact.
Inlet Control Valve for High Pressure Fuel Pump
The disclosed inlet check valve is used in a high pressure fuel pump and is comprised of a valve member integrally connected to a valve stem which is coupled to an inlet valve armature. The valve member has a stroke along an axis between an open position and a closed position. An inlet valve solenoid generates a magnetic field in an inlet valve pole to attract the inlet valve armature and move the valve member from the open position to the closed position. In the open position, the valve member contacts an inlet valve stop and a gap greater than the stroke of the valve member is defined along the axis between the inlet valve armature and the inlet valve pole. In the closed position, an inlet valve seat mates with the valve member and an armature gap remains between the inlet valve armature and the inlet valve pole.
Integrated Outlet Check Valve and Pressure Relief Valve
The disclosed integrated outlet check valve and pressure relief valve are used in a high pressure fuel pump including a pumping chamber and an outlet fitting defining an outlet passage to a common rail. The pressure relief valve comprises a movable pressure relief valve shuttle including a pressure relief valve surface configured to mate with a pressure relief valve seat in a closed position. The pressure relief valve shuttle moves from the closed position to an open position when pressure in the common rail exerts a force greater than the bias of a pressure relief valve spring. The pressure relief valve shuttle also includes an outlet check valve seat configured to mate with an outlet check valve ball in a closed position. The outlet valve ball moves from the closed position to an open position when pressure in the outlet passage is less than pressure in the pumping chamber.
