Fuel injector having valve seat orifice plate with valve seat and drain and re-pressurization orifices
A fuel injector includes an injector housing, an outlet check, an injection control valve assembly, and a valve seat orifice plate integrating a valve seat and various orifices for outlet check control. In the valve seat orifice plate a drain orifice extends between a valve seat surface and a check control chamber formed between a closing hydraulic surface of the outlet check and the valve seat orifice plate. First and second re-pressurization orifices extend between an outer surface of the valve seat orifice plate and the check control chamber.
HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
Provided is a high pressure fuel pump including: a body formed in a side surface thereof with a discharge hole; a pressurizing device for generating a suction force for sucking fuel supplied from a fuel tank and a pressurizing force for pressurizing the fuel at a high pressure; a seal carrier coupled to a lower portion of the body and coupled with the pressurizing device; a flow control valve coupled to one side of the body, for controlling a supply flow rate and a discharge pressure of the fuel; and a pressure relief valve for relieving an abnormal high pressure by transferring a part of discharged fuel to a low pressure space formed in the lower portion of the body when the abnormal high pressure exceeding a preset pressure limit is generated in a fuel supply system for supplying the fuel discharged through the discharge hole to an injector.
Fuel pressure regulator
A fuel pressure regulator includes a housing defining a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet; a valve seat located between the fuel inlet and the fuel outlet, the valve seat being centered about a valve seat axis; a valve member centered about a valve member axis, the valve member being moveable between 1) a closed position where the valve member engages the valve seat to prevent fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet and 2) an open position where the valve member is disengaged from the valve seat to permit fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet; and a grounding member grounded to the housing which engages the valve member to cause the valve member axis to tip relative to the valve seat axis when the valve member moves from the closed position to the open position.
High-Pressure Fuel Pump for a Fuel System for an Internal Combustion Engine
A high-pressure fuel pump for a fuel delivery system of an internal combustion engine includes a pressure limiting valve positioned between an outlet and an inlet of the pump. The valve includes a spring-loaded closing element and a closing body that radially holds the closing element in place, and that has a concave receiving portion configured to at least partially receive the closing element. The receiving portion has a radially outer first area with a first opening angle, and a radially inner second area with a second opening angle larger than the first opening angle. The first area and the second area are located outside of a contact region between the closing element and the closing body.
High-pressure fuel pump
Provided is a high-pressure fuel pump that ensures oil tightness even at high fuel pressure and has a small and lightweight inexpensive discharge valve structure. Therefore, a high-pressure fuel pump according to the present invention includes: a discharge valve arranged on a discharge side of a pressurizing chamber; a discharge valve seat on which the discharge valve is seated; and a facing member configured independently as a separate member from the discharge valve seat and located on an opposite side of the discharge valve seat with the discharge valve interposed therebetween, in which a stroke direction regulating portion that regulates displacement of the discharge valve in a stroke direction is formed on a tapered surface of the facing member.
Fluid control valve and fluid control device
The fluid control valve comprises: a valve seat constituting a part of a valve chamber; a valve body that is installed in the valve chamber and moves in a contacting/separating direction with respect to the valve seat; an actuator configured to move the valve body; and a plunger that transfers power of the actuator to the valve body. The valve body and the plunger are in contact with each other via an inclination suppressing protrusion configured to suppress an inclination of the plunger, the inclination being caused by contact between the valve body and the valve seat.
Fuel injector
A fuel injector includes an upper housing having an outer peripheral surface; a nozzle tip with a nozzle opening which serves as an outlet to fuel from the fuel injector; and a valve needle which is selectively moveable between a first position which prevents fuel flow and a second position which permits fuel flow. The fuel injector also includes an inlet sleeve which includes an inner peripheral surface which circumferentially surrounds, and mates with, the outer peripheral surface of the upper housing. The inlet sleeve is fixed to the upper housing, thereby preventing relative movement between the inlet sleeve and the upper housing. The inlet sleeve includes external threads which are configured to mate with complementary internal threads of a nut which secures a fuel supply conduit to the upper housing.
High-Pressure Fuel Pump
A high-pressure fuel pump includes a pressure-limiting valve that opens from a high-pressure region of the high-pressure fuel pump towards a compression chamber or towards a low-pressure region of the high-pressure fuel pump. The pressure-limiting valve includes a valve body with a valve seat surface that tapers against the opening direction of the pressure-limiting valve, a spherical valve element, and a valve spring, which presses the spherical valve element against the opening direction of the pressure-limiting valve towards the valve seat surface. When the pressure-limiting valve is closed, the valve element and the valve seat surface bear against one another over a contact line, and a gap is formed between the valve element and valve body, next to the contact line. This gap is asymmetrically narrower upstream of the contact line than downstream of the contact line.
