Assembly having a high-pressure pump and a control device arranged upstream of the high-pressure pump
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, an apparatus that includes a high-pressure pump having a pump element, a regulating device positioned upstream of the high-pressure pump, a fuel channel defined between an inflow side of the regulating device and the pump element, and a safety device, actuatable to reduce a through-flowable cross section of the fuel channel.

FUEL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A fuel system and method of controlling the fuel system in an engine using a liquid propane fuel wherein a fluid pressure control module 11 having a housing 12 and plurality of solenoids 20 are provided for venting the fuel pressure in the fuel rails of the fuel system after shut down of the vehicle to reduce fuel leakage from the fuel injectors and fuel rail by having a fuel bleed 20B solenoid vent the fuel pressure in the fuel rail to an evaporative emissions canister, while other solenoids (20R, 20F and 20S) are shut, to further eliminate evaporative fuel emissions from the vehicle during engine shut down.
Fuel cut apparatus
The present disclosure relates to a fuel cut apparatus capable of improving air ventilation while blocking moisture from being infiltrated thereinto by selectively opening and closing an air vent corresponding to engine starting and engine stopping. The fuel cut apparatus includes: a housing; a motor installed at one side of the housing; a rotor rotated by the motor of the housing; and a cam member rotating in association with rotation of the rotor to switch on/off a contact switch, wherein one side of the housing is provided with an air vent, and the air vent is opened or closed by the cam member.
Valve for a fuel system for a combustion engine and method for controlling a fuel system for a combustion engine
A valve (4, 4) for a fuel system for a combustion engine: A ball retainer (26) is provided with a cavity (28) to accommodate a ball (22). The ball (22) has a first seal surface (30) to cooperate with and abut sealingly against a seat (32). The ball retainer (26) has a secondary seal surface (34) to cooperate with and abut sealingly against the seat (32) when the ball (22) is not in the ball retainer (26). Also, a method for controlling a fuel system for a combustion engine.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE ROLLOVER ENGINE PROTECTION, EMERGENCY CALL AND LOCATION SERVICES
A vehicle rollover engine protection and location system 10 for an off-road vehicle includes an inertial sensor unit 22, a communication bus 18 for providing communication from both the rollover sensor 22 and a global positioning system 40 to an electronic control unit 12. When a vehicle rollover has occurred, a processor 14 of the electronic control unit 12 is configured to stop providing fuel to an engine of the off-road vehicle, stop operation of the fuel pump, determine a location of the off-road vehicle from signals of the global positioning system, perform a rollover emergency call to actively indicate rollover of the off-road vehicle, and transmit a location signal.
