Suction muffler for reciprocating compressor
A suction muffler for a reciprocating compressor comprises a first housing portion and a second hosing portion. The first housing portion comprising a first inlet opening, and a second inlet opening. The second housing portion comprises a blocking member configured to block one of a first refrigerant flow path from the first inlet opening to a suction muffler outlet and a second refrigerant flow path from the second inlet opening to the suction muffler outlet. The blocking member can be provided in different configurations by a selection of the second housing portion or by configuring the relative arrangement of the first housing portion and the second housing portion.
Sound reduction device for rocking piston pumps and compressors
A rocking piston vacuum pump or compressor may have a sound attenuation assembly. The sound attenuation assembly may comprise a sound attenuation chamber. The chamber may have a first silencer disposed therein with sound dampening foam disposed therein. A second silencer may be disposed in series relative to the first silencer and may be disposed externally of the sound attenuation chamber.
Suction muffler for a reciprocating compressor
A reciprocating compressor includes a piston slidably mounted within a compression chamber and defining a suction port for receiving a flow of gas. A flex mount is mechanically coupled to the piston and has an inner surface that defines a suction cavity. A suction muffler is positioned at least partially within the suction cavity and includes an inlet tube extending along the axial direction within the suction cavity and defining an inlet passageway configured to receive the flow of gas and a plurality of chamber plates that extend along the radial direction from an outer surface of the inlet tube, the plurality of chamber plates and the flex mount defining a plurality of resonance chambers to reduce compressor noise.
COMPRESSOR
A compressor includes: a case, a compression unit that is provided inside the case and that includes a cylinder and a piston configured to reciprocate inside the cylinder to compress refrigerant, a driving unit that includes a stator disposed inside the case and a plurality of permanent magnets configured to reciprocate with respect to the stator and that is configured to provide a driving force to the compression unit, and a resonator that is configured to reduce noises generated while the compression unit is operated, that is disposed between the compression unit and an inner surface of the case facing the compression unit in an axial direction, and that is spaced apart from the compression unit.
Encapsulated refrigerant compressor
For a refrigerant compressor, a flexible connection element that connects an end segment of a suction connection piece, which end segment protrudes into the interior of a housing, to a suction sound damper, in particular to a suction opening of the suction sound damper. The end segment itself thereby serves for fastening the flexible connection element onto the end segment and/or the inner wall of the housing.
Pump
The pump has a casing accommodating a piston and a driving part. The casing has a first casing member having a driving part retaining portion retaining the driving part, a second casing member fixedly stacked on the first casing member in the reciprocating direction of the piston, and a cylindrical pump chamber peripheral wall member disposed around a head of the piston. The second casing member has an end wall portion extending in a transverse direction substantially perpendicular to the reciprocating direction. A pump chamber, a delivery chamber, and a buffer chamber are defined between the first casing member and the end wall portion of the second casing member. The pump chamber, the delivery chamber, and the buffer chamber are disposed side-by-side in the transverse direction.
Belt guard comprising a compressor silencer
A belt guard for an air compressor that includes an air compressor silencer. The guard includes a housing that includes a front cover and a back cover, and an accommodation portion. The air compressor silencer is provided inside the housing in the accommodation portion, where the air compressor silencer includes a spirally shaped silencer core, and the spirally shaped silencer core includes at least one spiral chamber comprising a core inlet and a core outlet. Additionally, a compressor installation that includes a motor, a compressor, a belt connected to a compressor shaft of the compressor element and a motor shaft of the motor, and a belt guard that includes a front cover and a back cover, and an accommodation portion, where the compressor silencer is provided inside the housing in the accommodation portion.
Acoustic Filter for Compressor
Reduction of noise produced by hermetic compressors. The acoustic filter includes an inlet duct, an outlet duct and a main chamber. The inlet duct includes a refrigerant fluid inlet and a refrigerant fluid delivery end. The refrigerant fluid delivery end is opposite to the refrigerant fluid inlet and it is capable of guiding the refrigerant fluid to the main chamber. The outlet duct includes a refrigerant fluid outlet and a refrigerant fluid collection end. The refrigerant fluid collection end is opposite to the refrigerant fluid outlet for guiding the refrigerant fluid from the main chamber to the fluid outlet. The filter includes a resonator chamber arranged adjacent to the inlet duct and adjacent to the main chamber. The resonator chamber and the inlet duct are fluidically connected by a resonator tube and the resonator chamber is separated from the main chamber by a sealing wall.
Acoustic Attenuating Device for Compressors
Acoustic attenuating device for compressors which includes a hollow body having at least one input port, at least one output channel, at least one output port disposed in the at least one output channel, an intermediate body dividing the hollow body into two acoustic chambers, and a connection channel communicating the two acoustic chambers. Said connection channel includes two sub-channels, wherein one of the two sub-channels accommodates, at least partially, the output channel and the other one of the two sub-channels conforms fluid communication between the two acoustic chambers. The acoustic attenuating device further includes at least one blocker disposed between the outer side of the output channel and the inner side of the sub-channel which accommodates the output channel, wherein said blocker is capable of precluding flow between the two acoustic chambers, thereby reducing the amount of lubricating oil which flows out from the compressor into the cooling system.
