COMPRESSOR LOW COST OIL FILTER
An internal oil filter is installed at least partially inside a crankcase and/or an oil sump of a compressor. The internal oil filter can receive oil from an oil pressure regulator and filter the oil via filter media. The received oil radially penetrates through the filter media and flow directly into the oil sump from an outside surface of the filter media. This can eliminate the need of fluid lines connecting an outlet of an oil filter to the oil sump and any sealing mechanism therebetween.
PACKING CASE FOR RECIPROCATING MACHINE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A packing case for a plunger or a piston rod of a reciprocating machine comprises packing cups, each packing cup comprising a body with a hole for the passage of the plunger or rod and a sealing ring seat for housing a sealing ring which slidably bear against the plunger or rod. Packing cups are aligned with each other in series. The packing case comprises lube oil ducts for supplying lube oil from an end of the packing case to the sealing ring seat. Each packing cup comprises sectors, each sector comprising at least lube oil duct portions. The packing cups are positionable to bring, one sector at a time in an activation position where some of the lube oil duct portions of the sector are connected with the lube oil duct portions of an adjacent packing cup to form lube oil ducts. The packing cups are lockable.
MUD PUMP SEALING ASSEMBLY
Various assemblies that can be used in a mud pump with a plunger-style piston to reduce seal failures, to offer control in variability of the circumference of the piston to thereby control fluid pressure, and to provide visibility into seal condition during operation. In one embodiment, a sleeve that can vary the overall effective circumference of the piston enables fluid pressure control. In some embodiments, seal failure within a pump can be monitored via a drain port that would receive drilling fluid leaking past a seal during operation of the pump. A discharge valve can be provided between an inlet and an outlet of the mud pump to reduce the load on pump components during start-up. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
Refrigerant compressor unit
A refrigerant compressor unit, including a compressor housing and at least one compressor element that is arranged in the compressor housing, is movable by bearing and drive parts, and operates in at least one compressor chamber, at least one lubricant supply point arranged in the compressor housing for at least one of the bearing and drive parts and/or compressor element, and a lubricant supply line to the at least one lubricant supply point, wherein the lubricant supply line has a lubricant storage chamber through which lubricant flows and in which a lubricant presence sensor is arranged for detecting the presence of lubricant in the lubricant storage chamber.
Refrigerant compressor with gas equalizer duct
A refrigerant compressor for a refrigeration system comprises a common housing, a compressor unit arranged in the common housing, a mechanical compressor drive unit for the compressor unit, arranged in a drive chamber, a lubricant bath forming in the drive chamber, an intake duct that extends in a manner separated from the drive chamber and through which the compressor unit draws in by suction refrigerant that is to be compressed. The intake duct and the drive chamber are connected by a gas equaliser duct, which allows a permanent equalisation of gas, and which has on one side an opening on the drive chamber side and on the other an opening on the intake side, and of which the duct length between the openings corresponds to at least twice an equivalent duct diameter, in particular a smallest equivalent duct diameter, of the gas equaliser duct.
COMPRESSOR
A compressor includes: a shell forming an outer portion thereof and having lower part in which an oil pan is formed to store oil; a motor provided in the shell; a compression unit provided in the shell to compress a working gas when being driven by the motor; a frame fixed to the shell and supporting the compression unit; a shaft supported by the frame, connecting the motor and the compression unit, provided to transmit a turning force of the motor to the compression unit, and including an oil passage; and an oil pump provided at lower part of the shaft to draw oil from the pan and supply the oil into the oil passage. The pump includes a bypass valve that is opened, when a pressure of oil flowing in the oil passage is higher than a threshold pressure, to return part of the oil to the pan.
Cooling system with supplemental oil extraction from refrigerant
An apparatus includes a conduit coupled to a suction header that is configured to receive a refrigerant and an oil separator that is configured to separate an oil from the refrigerant received from a compressor. During a first mode of operation, the conduit is configured to remove excess oil from the refrigerant that has collected at the suction header. During a second mode of operation, the oil separator is configured to direct to the conduit the oil separated from the refrigerant received from the compressor. The conduit is configured to direct to an oil reservoir the oil from the oil separator and the excess oil removed from the refrigerant.
Adaptive Lubricator Box
A lubricator reservoir uses adapter components so that the lube box that can be mounted on any high speed compressors. The use of a single lubricator reservoir with adapters for different compressors enables reduced inventory and guarantees the owner/operator can always get their compressors up and running in a timely manner and reduce lost revenue.
Sealed refrigerant compressor and refrigeration device
A sealed refrigerant compressor (10A) accommodates an electric component (20A) and a compression component (30) in a sealed container (11). A crankshaft (40) included in the compression component (30) includes a main shaft part (41) and an eccentric shaft part (42). A main shaft part (41) is secured to a rotor (22A) of the electric component (20A). The rotor (22A) is provided with a balance adjustment means such as a balance hole (27), which adjusts an unbalanced load caused by the structure of the main shaft part (41).
Liquid injection ring and refrigerant lubricated bearing assembly
The present application relates to a liquid injection ring and a refrigerant lubricated bearing assembly, the liquid injection ring includes a ring body; the ring body is provided with a liquid storage chamber and a plurality of liquid guide holes; the liquid storage chamber is arranged in a circle around the axis of the ring body; the inlets of the liquid guide holes communicate with the liquid storage chamber; the outlets of the liquid guide holes face the end surface of a to-be-lubricated bearing; and the plurality of liquid guide holes are uniformly distributed in a spaced manner along the circumferential direction of the ring body.
