Linear compressor
A linear compressor includes a discharge valve detachably attached to a front end surface of a cylinder to open and close a compression space of the cylinder; and a valve spring elastically supporting a rear surface of the discharge valve to press the discharge valve toward the front end surface of the cylinder. The discharge valve includes reinforced fiber, and the reinforced fiber is arranged parallel to the front end surface of the cylinder. Accordingly, while a rigidity of the discharge valve is improved, a weight of the valve is reduced to enhance responsiveness of the valve, suppress abrasion of the cylinder, and reduce striking sound.
COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A FLOW-RESTRICTING VALVE
An illustrative example embodiment of a compressor assembly includes a compressor housing having a suction inlet and a discharge outlet. A flow restricting valve allows unrestricted fluid flow in a first direction into the housing through the suction inlet and out of the discharge outlet during a first operating condition. The flow restricting valve allows a restricted fluid flow in a second, opposite direction into the housing through the discharge outlet in a second operating condition.
VALVE AND FLUID CONTROL DEVICE
A fluid control device (111) includes a valve section (12) and a blower section (13). The valve section (12) allows fluid to flow in one direction. The valve section (12) has the shape of a cylindrical container with a valve chamber (40) provided therein. The valve section (12) includes a top plate (21), a side-wall plate (22), a bottom plate (23), and a film (24). A plurality of ejection holes (41) and a plurality of auxiliary holes (49) arranged in a predetermined pattern are formed in a central region of the top plate (21). A plurality of communication holes (43) arranged in a predetermined pattern are formed in a central region of the bottom plate (23). A plurality of film holes (42) arranged in a predetermined pattern are formed in a central region of the film (24).

Stacked valve assembly
A valve assembly includes a seat plate having a top surface and a bottom surface, a plurality of first valve modules arranged in a first level relative to the seat plate such that a first seating face of each of the plurality of first valve modules is substantially co-planar with a first plane that is substantially parallel to at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface of the seat plate, and at least one second valve module arranged in a second level relative to the seat plate such that a second seating face of the at least one second valve module is co-planar with a second plane that is substantially parallel to the first plane, wherein the second plane is offset from the first plane by a first distance.
Valve and gas control device
A valve includes a first plate, a side wall plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The first plate has a plurality of first vent holes. The second plate constitutes a valve chamber along with the first plate and the side wall plate. The second plate includes a second principal surface opposing a first principal surface of the first plate. The second plate has a plurality of second vent holes. The third plate has a plurality of third vent holes. The plurality of third vent holes overlaps with the plurality of first vent holes without overlapping with the plurality of second vent holes in a plan view in a direction in which the first plate and the second plate oppose each other. Both principal surfaces of the third plate oppose the first principal surface and the second principal surface. The third plate is disposed in the valve chamber.

Check valve with improved response time
A check valve with improved response time comprises a valve member which has a central portion of a substantially convex shape and a guide portion that surrounds the central portion. The central portion has a central convex curvature extending towards the outlet port of the check valve, in the direction of the fluid flow. The guide portion has a weight to area ratio that is smaller than the weight to area ratio of the central portion. Such a check valve has an overall reduced weight of the valve member allowing a faster response time when the valve switches between its closed and open positions.
Valves with valve closing member attached to the actuated counter-seat and related methods
A valve assembly in a reciprocating compressor used in oil and gas industry is provided. The valve assembly comprises an actuator configured to a valve actuating motion and a valve. The valve has a valve seat comprises an inlet port configured to allow a fluid to flow through the valve seat, a counter-seat comprising an outlet port configured to allow the fluid to flow through the counter-seat, and a valve closing member attached to the counter-seat and configured to cover the inlet port when the counter-seat is in a closed position. The counter-seat is configured to receive the valve actuating motion and to move between the closed position and an open position in which the valve closing member does not cover the inlet port thereby selectively allowing the fluid to flow on a flow path which comprises the inlet port and the outlet port.
