Pump actuator with stamp-aligned anti-rotation feature
A tappet, which may be a fuel pump actuator, includes a body that is a contiguous piece of case-hardened ferrous metal. The body has a cylinder-conforming bore-running surface and an anti-rotation guide feature that has been made by stamping to project outwardly from the bore-running surface. A cam follower is mounted to the body. The body has been case hardened by ferritic nitrocarburizing, but has not been distorted by heat treatment and has a malleable interior. A transverse web for the tappet may be fully hardened. Axle holes for the cam follower may be formed by stamping. The tappet is durable and provides superior alignment of the roller to a cam, which reduces friction and noise.
DELIVERY DEVICE
A conveying device at least for conveying a fluid, includes at least one conveying space, with at least one conveying space element, which at least partly delimits the conveying space and is embodied in a rigid fashion, and with at least one elastically deformable conveying element, which forms the conveying space together with the conveying space element, at least the conveying space element and the conveying element together form an exchangeable unit. The conveying element is arranged on the conveying space element in an at least partly convexly curved fashion, following a deformation, the conveying element automatically seeks to re-assume a basic shape, and the conveying element is connected to the conveying space element in a non-releasable manner.
Axial pump assemblies
Embodiments of the invention provide a pump assembly for a hydraulic tool. The pump assembly can include a reciprocating element that is configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position, a cam surface in the reciprocating element that can engage cam followers, a rotating element that can receive rotational input, and a base that can at least partially surrounds the rotating element. Movement of the cam followers along the cam surface can move the reciprocating element from the retracted position to the extended position.
Wobble plate pump drive with gear box
Various surface cam planetary mechanisms are described that convert rotational motion to linear reciprocating motion. Also described are assemblies using such mechanisms such as pump drives. A surface cam component used in the mechanisms includes a cam race that exhibits an undulating surface.
SUPPLY PUMP
A cam ring of a supply pump revolves around a camshaft without rotating. A tappet reciprocates in a direction perpendicular to the camshaft in response to revolution of the cam ring such that the tappet slides along a cam ring sliding surface. A plunger reciprocates together with the tappet to pressurize and deliver fuel. The cam ring sliding surface is shaped in a convex form that has a curved contour line which is non-circular. A height of an inside of the cam ring sliding surface is higher than a height of a periphery of the cam ring sliding surface. Specifically, an ellipsoidal surface portion is formed at the cam ring sliding surface, and an axial direction of a major axis of the ellipsoidal surface portion is set to coincide with a direction perpendicular to a sliding direction of the cam ring sliding surface.
GAS SUPPLY PUMP FOR SHIP DUAL FUEL ENGINE
The present invention relates to a gas supply pump comprising: a camshaft which can be rotated; a plurality of cam noses provided at regular intervals in a lengthwise direction of the camshaft and having an eccentric shape from the center of the camshaft; a cam roller provided to be in close contact with each cam nose; and a drive shaft and a piston provided to neighbor with one side of the cam roller; and a liquefied gas compression device which pressurizes and exhausts a liquefied gas according to a straight reciprocation of the piston.
HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
In a reciprocating high-pressure fuel pump that operates a plunger while facing a cam ridge of a plunger driving cam provided on a camshaft to which power of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine is transmitted, the cam ridge includes a cam curved surface including two apexes at a cam angle interval of 180° and two valley bottoms at a cam angle interval of 180° and alternately connecting the apexes and the valley bottoms, and a crossing angle between a first virtual line connecting the two apexes and a second virtual line connecting the two valley bottoms is not a right angle as viewed in a direction of a camshaft axis.
Modular hydraulic device
A modular hydraulic device comprising: a housing having a receptacle having a first open end, a second end and a first port, the first port for facilitating an ingress and an egress of hydraulic fluid with respect to the housing; a sleeve configured to be received in the first open end and abut the second end; and an end cap for closing the first open end once the sleeve is inserted in the receptacle; the sleeve having: a body having a fourth lan (L4) positioned in the body for aligning with first port; a main cylinder for holding a main piston for reciprocation about a reciprocation axis; and a first bore portion fluidly coupled to the first lan, the first bore portion for receiving the ingress of the hydraulic fluid and for outputting the egress of the hydraulic fluid; wherein once assembled the main piston is coupled to a cam for facilitating said reciprocation.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DETERMINING FLUID DELIVERY PUMP INFORMATION
Wearable fluid delivery devices and pump systems having a pump status determination assembly to determine a status of at least one component of a fluid pump are described. For example, in one embodiment, a fluid pump system for a wearable fluid delivery device may include a control system, a first pump element associated with a first electrical element, a second pump element associated with a second electrical element, wherein the first pump element is configured to engage the second pump element to form an electrical circuit between the first electrical element and the second electrical element, the control system configured to receive at least one signal from the electrical circuit. Other embodiments are described.
Fluid pumps with shifters
In an example, a fluid pump includes a shifter having a first end and pivotable about a second end, a cam rotatably engaged with the shifter, wherein the cam is to rotate about a cam shaft axis if the shifter pivots about the second end, a diaphragm fluidly engaged with a fluid cavity, a collar movable with a cam surface of the cam, wherein the collar is to compress the diaphragm so as to decrease the volume of the fluid cavity, a fluid inlet having a one-way inlet valve to only allow fluid into the fluid cavity, and a fluid outlet having a one-way outlet valve to only allow fluid out of the fluid cavity, wherein the one-way outlet valve is to allow fluid out of the fluid cavity upon the volume of the fluid cavity being decreased.
