VANE CELL PUMP WITH A SUB-VANE REGION TO WHICH PRESSURE CAN BE APPLIED
A vane cell pump, includes a rotatable rotor having vanes which can be moved back and forth; an end plate with a pressure passage for discharging pressure fluid and a supply passage for supplying a sub-vane region with pressure fluid; a flow channelling device on an end face of the end plate facing axially away from the rotor; a first outlet region for discharging a first partial flow of the pressure fluid; a second outlet region for discharging a second partial flow of the pressure fluid; a first flow path along which the first partial flow flows through the first outlet region; a second flow path connecting the pressure passage to the supply passage, diverges from the first flow path and is delineated by the flow channelling device; and a third flow path connecting the supply passage to the second outlet region and delineated by the flow channelling device.
HYDRAULIC PUMP AND RESPECTIVE MULTIFUNCTION VALVE
A hydraulic pump is described, comprising at least one inlet duct for a fluid, at least one outlet duct for the fluid and at least one pumping unit interposed between the inlet and outlet ducts. At least one multifunction valve is interposed between the inlet duct, upstream of the pumping unit, and the outlet duct, downstream of the pumping unit, which valve is configured to divert the flow of fluid from the inlet duct to the outlet duct without the fluid flowing into the pumping unit. The multifunction valve comprises a valve body that defines an inner bypass channel in which a shutter element is axially movable, an actuator member operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to move it from a closing position to an opening position of the bypass channel, and an elastic contrast element operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to keep it in the first closing position of the bypass channel when such shutter element is not actuated by the actuator member. The actuator member consists of a bias spring manufactured with a shape memory alloy, configured to move the shutter element from the first closing position to the second opening position of the bypass channel when a predefined temperature value is reached.
Valveless hydraulic system
Disclosed herein is an integrated pump system in which a motor is directly coupled to a pump, preferably using a modular connection. The integrated pump system may operate in a uni-directional or bi-directional mode. The integrated pump system incorporates an internal cooling channel which directs the returning low pressure hydraulic fluid past the controller and the motor for cooling purposes. The low pressure hydraulic fluid is also directly fed into the coupling between the motor and the pump to provide both cooling and lubrication.

PUMP CONFIGURATION INCLUDING A PURGE VALVE
A pump and purge valve configuration may include an inlet, an outlet arranged downstream of the inlet and defining a portion of an operational fluid pathway, and a pump mechanism arranged along the operational fluid pathway between the inlet and the outlet. The pump and purge valve configuration may also include a purging fluid pathway having a purge inlet in fluid communication with the operational fluid pathway at a point downstream of the pump. The purging fluid pathway may extend from the purge inlet to a relief point. The pump and purge valve configuration may also include a purge valve arranged along the purging fluid pathway. The purge valve may be configured to remain open unless a triggering fluid pressure develops in the pump mechanism.
