The control system advantageously tends to reduce or eliminate the wear caused by cavitations.
SEPARATOR SYSTEM
A separator system may include a separator for separating a liquid (e.g. an operating liquid received from a liquid ring pump) from a mixture comprising the liquid and another substance; a level indicator coupled to the separator, the level indicator being for indicating a level of the liquid in the separator, the level indicator comprising a tubular member fluidly connected to the separator such that the liquid within the separator may flow from the separator into the tubular member; and a liquid line configured to supply liquid to the separator, the liquid line coupled to the level indicator such that the tubular member is fluidly connected between the liquid line and the separator.
Air/oil separator
The air/oil separator uses a multi-chambered reservoir tank, which is divided into four separate internal chambers. The discharge oil passes sequentially through the chambers within the separator progressively separating and collecting the liquid oil from the discharge. The separator has an elongated reservoir chamber and three additional chambers, a deflector chamber, a screen chamber and a filter chamber located over the reservoir chamber. The separator includes two removable diffuser plates suspended within the reservoir chamber. The separator includes a replaceable screen separating the reservoir and screen chambers and filter element mounted within the filter chamber. Discharged oil enters the separator through a side oriented inlet port into the deflector chamber. The discharge oil is directed against an internal deflector wall within the deflector chamber that redirects the flow radially before falling vertically into the main reservoir chamber below.
CONTROL OF OPERATING LIQUID FLOW INTO A LIQUID RING PUMP
A control system comprising: a suction line; an exhaust line; an operating liquid line; a liquid ring pump coupled to the suction, exhaust, and operating liquid lines; a regulating device configured to control flow of operating liquid into the liquid ring pump; a pressure sensor configured to measure a pressure of an input fluid to the liquid ring pump via the suction line; a first temperature sensor configured to measure temperature of an exhaust fluid output by the liquid ring pump via the exhaust line; a second temperature sensor configured to measure temperature of an operating liquid received by the liquid ring pump via the operating liquid line; and a controller configured to: using the sensor measurements control the one or more regulating devices.

The control system advantageously tends to reduce or eliminate the wear caused by cavitations.
Device and method for evacuating a chamber and purifying the gas extracted from said chamber
A device evacuates a chamber and purifies the gas extracted from said chamber of any foreign substances. The device comprises a dry-condensing vacuum pump having an input connected to the chamber to be evacuated and is suitable for maintaining the input pressure at a constant level at the output despite variable conditions. An intermediate line which connects to the output of the dry-condensing vacuum pump and a liquid ring vacuum pump, the input of which is connected to the intermediate line, are additionally provided. A corresponding method makes it possible to purify the gas of any foreign substances reliably and effectively.
Water-ring vacuum pump including built-in hogging flow path
A water-ring vacuum pump including a built-in hogging flow path. The water-ring vacuum pump includes a first-stage body, a second-stage body, and an impeller. The first-stage body includes a gas inlet port through which gas is suctioned and a seal water supply port through which seal water is supplied. The second-stage body includes a mixed fluid outlet port through which a mixed fluid of the gas and the seal water is discharged. The first-stage body has a fluid-mixing space provided therein, the fluid-mixing space having a mixed flow of the gas and the seal water therein. The second-stage body has a fluid guide space and an internal hogging flow path provided therein, the internal hogging flow path communicating with the fluid guide space.
