A serviceable pump includes a motor disposed at an end of the serviceable pump and connected to a gear portion with a pump shaft. The gear portion receives fluid from and outputs fluid to a system such as a deep fryer cooking system. The gear portion includes at least one channel for receiving fluid, such as oil, to lubricate the gears and a fluid discharge aperture to push fluid into a cooling loop at a first end of the cooling loop. The cooling loop cools the fluid passing through the serviceable pump and is disposed between the motor and the gear portion. The cooling loop is connected to a seal assembly that surrounds the pump input shaft at a second end of the loop. The seal assembly allows the cooled fluid to pass along the pump input shaft.

The accumulator in the accumulator compartment comprises a movable piston dividing the accumulator compartment into a high pressure reservoir and a low pressure reservoir. A gear pump assembly is in the gear pump compartment. The gear pump assembly is configured to draw return fluid from the low pressure reservoir via the supply path and to pump pressurized fluid through the pressurizing path to accumulate in the high pressure reservoir. A motor assembly is connected to the gear pump compartment of the housing and is configured to power the gear pump assembly.

The blocking chamber by way of the pump outlet is impinged with a fluid pressure resulting from the fluid pressure differential that is generated by the sealing-fluid pump device, whereby said fluid pressure interacts with the first seal assembly to seal the pump chamber in relation to the egress of pump-conveyed fluid from the pump chamber along the pump shaft.

A screw-spindle pump comprising: first and second screw spindles forming running and drive spindles, respectively, and a pump housing configured to receive the first and second screw spindles. The first and second screw spindles form, with at least the pump housing, delivery chambers, moving from a suction side to a pressure side of the pump as a consequence due to rotation of the screw spindles. The pump housing has an elongate insert, as an abutment for the first and second screw spindles and against which the first and second screw spindles are supported, the elongate insert having a first portion forming a first abutment for the second screw spindle and a second portion forming a second abutment for the first screw spindle. The elongate insert is clamped into a receptacle of the pump housing using a cross-sectional dimension of the elongate insert.
