HYDRAULIC PUMP AND RESPECTIVE MULTIFUNCTION VALVE
A hydraulic pump is described, comprising at least one inlet duct for a fluid, at least one outlet duct for the fluid and at least one pumping unit interposed between the inlet and outlet ducts. At least one multifunction valve is interposed between the inlet duct, upstream of the pumping unit, and the outlet duct, downstream of the pumping unit, which valve is configured to divert the flow of fluid from the inlet duct to the outlet duct without the fluid flowing into the pumping unit. The multifunction valve comprises a valve body that defines an inner bypass channel in which a shutter element is axially movable, an actuator member operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to move it from a closing position to an opening position of the bypass channel, and an elastic contrast element operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to keep it in the first closing position of the bypass channel when such shutter element is not actuated by the actuator member. The actuator member consists of a bias spring manufactured with a shape memory alloy, configured to move the shutter element from the first closing position to the second opening position of the bypass channel when a predefined temperature value is reached.
Rotary pump driven medicament delivery device
A rotary pump is presented for use in a medicament delivery device, where the pump has a back plate having an inner surface and a rotor housing is positioned adjacent to the back plate having a peripheral wall. A front plate support is connected to the back plate and a flexible front plate is positioned between the front plate support and the rotor housing. The pump is rotated using a planetary gear transmission, where an eccentric shaft is operatively connected to the planetary gear mechanism. A rotor is rotationally fixed to the eccentric shaft and movably positioned within the rotor housing. The rotor has three lobes, where each lobe has two peripheral curved surfaces sharing a common apex, where a first portion of each peripheral surface adjacent to the apex defines a non-smooth curve.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor is provided. The scroll compressor has a housing, a partition plate, a rack, a movable scroll plate, a stationary scroll plate and a pressure relief low-speed rotation structure. The partition plate is in the interior of the housing and divides the interior of the housing into a suction space and a discharge space, and has a first through to communicate the suction space with the discharge space. The rack is in the suction space and spaced apart from the partition plate. The movable scroll plate is movably provided on the rack. The stationary scroll plate is provided on the rack and cooperates with the movable scroll plate, and has a second through hole communicating with the discharge space. The pressure relief low-speed rotation structure is provided on the stationary scroll plate and configured to communicate the second through hole with the discharge space.
Methods and systems for air compressor and engine driven control
Power systems and methods of controlling an engine driven air compressor include an air compressor driven by an engine via a clutch. A first pressure sensor configured to sense a pressure level at an outlet of the air compressor. An inlet valve configured to close in response to the first pressure sensor sensing a pressure level above a first pressure level. In addition, a second pressure sensor to sense a pressure level below a second pressure level at a housing of the air compressor, wherein the clutch is configured to disengage in response to the second pressure level, wherein the first pressure level is higher than the second pressure level.
Compressor having floating seal assembly
A compressor includes a shell, a first scroll member, a second scroll member and a sealing assembly. The shell defines a first pressure region and a second pressure region. The first scroll member is disposed within the shell and includes a first end plate and a first scroll wrap. The second scroll member includes a second end plate and a second scroll wrap. The second scroll wrap meshingly engages the first scroll wrap to define a compression chamber therebetween. The seal assembly fluidly separates the first and second pressure regions from each other. The seal assembly includes a first plate, a second plate, a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The first sealing member is sealingly engaged with the first plate and the second plate. The second sealing member is sealingly engaged with the first sealing member and the first plate.
Systems and methods for controlling compressor motors
This disclosure is directed to systems and methods for controlling compressor motors, particularly varying the operation parameters of the motor to provide heat to a lubricant of the motor. The operation parameters include one or more of a pulse width modulation switching frequency, a pulse width modulation frequency switching pattern, or a torque/amp ratio of a drive of the compressor. The efficiency of the motor may be reduced to provide heat, with the heat improving lubricant quality and drive efficiency, to increase an overall efficiency of compressor operations. Methods may include determining a lubricant quality, and determining operational parameters that improve lubricant quality.
DRY-TYPE PRIMARY VACUUM PUMP AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE INJECTION OF A PURGING GAS
A dry-type primary vacuum pump includes an injection device to distribute a purging gas in the pumping stages. The injection device includes: a first pressure sensor arranged on a common portion of the distributor, a second pressure sensor arranged on each branch of the distributor, and a control unit to generate a pulse width modulation command signal for the control of the regulation valves independently of one another as a function of the pressure measurement differences between the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensors.
SCREW COMPRESSOR WITH A SHUNT-ENHANCED DECOMPRESSION AND PULSATION TRAP (SEDAPT)
A shunt-enhanced decompression and pulsation trap (SEDAPT) for a screw compressor assists internal compression (IC), reduces gas pulsation and NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness), and improves off-design efficiency, without using a slide valve and/or a serial pulsation dampener. The SEDAPT includes an inner casing, e.g., an integral part of the compressor chamber, and an outer casing, e.g., surrounding part of the inner casing near the compressor discharge port, forming at least one diffusing chamber with an outflow orifice or nozzle equipped with an ODV (one-direction valve) at the outflow exit and a feedback region that provides a feedback outflow loop between the compressor chamber and the compressor discharge port. The SEDAPT automatically bleeds or compensates cavity pressure to meet different outlet pressures, eliminates or reduces energy waste, gas pulsations and NVH associated with any over-compression and under-compression before the discharge port opens.
Pump system
One embodiment of a modular pump includes a cover and a housing that may be engaged with one another during operation. A gearset may be positioned within an internal portion of the housing. If the modular pump is configured as a rotary pump, the gear set may be comprised of an inner gear positioned within a portion of a ring gear. The modular pump may include a spacer positioned between the cover and the housing to allow the modular pump to be configured with gear sets of varying axial dimensions.
Mud motor control using eccentricity measurement
