Compressor having damped scroll
A compressor may include a shell assembly, orbiting and non-orbiting scrolls, a bearing housing, a bushing, a damper, and a fastener. The bearing housing includes a first aperture. The bushing may include an axial end abutting the bearing housing. The bushing may extend through a second aperture of the non-orbiting scroll. The bushing may include a third aperture. The damper may be received in a pocket that may be defined by and disposed radially between an outer diametrical surface of the bushing and an inner diametrical surface of the non-orbiting scroll. The damper may be at least partially disposed within the second aperture and may encircle the second portion of the bushing. The fastener may include a shaft portion and a flange portion. The shaft portion may extend through the third aperture and into the first aperture. The flange portion may contact a first axial end of the damper.
Fluid working systems
A fluid working system such as a pump for displacing a working fluid such as hydraulic fluid or a motor using a working fluid is provided. The system may have a positive displacement machine which includes one or more working chamber with displacement means such as a cylinder with a reciprocating piston. There are also two or more fluid ports to allow the working fluid to flow into and out of the working chamber. The working fluid flows from one fluid port means to another either being forced to do so when pumped or moving the piston when functioning as an engine. The fluid working system has associated therewith a non-dead compliance volume of a material such as syntactic foam. This compliance volume acts to smooth any pressure fluctuations within the working fluid system.

ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR
An electric compressor includes a compression portion, an electric motor, an inverter, a housing, a support bracket, a vibration insulator, and a soundproofing cover. The compression portion is configured to compress a fluid. The electric motor is configured to drive the compression portion. The inverter is configured to drive the electric motor. The housing includes an outer peripheral surface that has a cylindrical shape and accommodates the compression portion, the electric motor, and the inverter. The support bracket is fastened to the housing and supports the housing to an object to which the electric compressor is mounted. The vibration insulator is interposed between the support bracket and the object. The soundproofing cover is made of an elastically deformable sound absorbing material and covers the housing and the support bracket.
VACUUM SYSTEM
A vacuum system is disclosed. The vacuum system includes a first pump bay and a second pump bay enclosed by an enclosure. Each pump bay houses a motor and a vacuum pump driven by the motor. An inlet manifold and an exhaust manifold are in fluid communication with the first and second pump bays. The inlet manifold and the exhaust manifold are arranged to flow air through the pump bays to cool at least the vacuum pumps.

Supercharger integral resonator
A supercharger assembly comprises a housing, a rotor bore with an outer wall, an outlet in an outlet plane, an inlet in an inlet plane perpendicular to the outlet plane, and an outlet divider wall. The supercharger assembly comprises a first recess, a first perforated material covering the first recess, and an outlet resonator. The first recess is separated from the outlet by the outlet divider wall. The first recess is located between the outer wall and the first perforated material.

Outdoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An outdoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes: a terminal unit that is provided on an outer peripheral surface of a compressor, and electrically connects components provided in the compressor and outside the compressor; a side soundproof cover that covers the outer peripheral surface of the compressor except for the terminal unit; and a terminal cover that covers the terminal unit exposed from the side soundproof cover to the outside of the side soundproof cover, and soundproofs the terminal unit. The terminal cover is attached to the side soundproof cover such that the state of the terminal cover can be changed between a state in which the terminal cover covers the terminal unit and a state in which the terminal cover does not cover the terminal unit.
Silencer and ejector in which silencer is used
A silencer is equipped with a hollow tubular portion in which a discharge flow passage is formed that communicates on one end side thereof with a discharge port of a fluid pressure device (ejector) through which a pressure fluid is discharged, a cap member attached to another end part of the tubular portion, a sound absorbing member attached to an inner wall surface of the tubular portion, and a plurality of discharge ports adapted to discharge the pressure fluid, which has passed through the discharge flow passage in an axial direction of the tubular portion, in radial directions perpendicular to the axial direction.
