Ceiling fan bearing system
A ceiling fan mount assembly having a downrod assembly with a downrod and a motor assembly comprising motor and including a motor shaft. The ceiling fan mount assembly further includes a downrod plate coupled to the downrod and a shaft coupler coupled to the motor shaft and coupled to the downrod plate, whereby coupling the downrod plate to the shaft coupler suspends the motor from the downrod.
CEILING FAN HAVING A DUAL REDUNDANT MOTOR MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A ceiling fan having a dual redundant motor mounting assembly for suspending a motor comprising a downrod, a hollow motor shaft suspending the motor from the downrod, a retaining pin extending through the hollow motor shaft, and a retaining rod coupled to the retainer pin for redundantly suspending the motor.
CEILING FAN
An ceiling fan comprising a motor system. The motor system is mounted around a motor shaft. The motor shaft couples to a downrod for suspending the ceiling fan from a structure. The motor shaft and motor are encased by a motor housing. The motor housing comprises hub arms for mounting a plurality of blade holders. The blade holders coupled to a plurality of blades rotatable about the motor during operation. The downrod comprises a wire disk mounting guy wiring to the downrod. A retention rod is utilized internal of the motor and downrod as a secondary retention method. An electrical connector is internal of the motor shaft and electrically couples to the stator to power the motor.
AN HVAC BLOWER MOTOR
An HVAC blower motor (10) includes a stator (12) and a rotor (14). The stator (12) include electro-magnets (12a) energized at pre-determined energizing frequency. The rotor (14) angularly moves relative to the stator (12) due to pulsating magnetic field between the stator (12) and the rotor (14). The rotor (14) includes an output shaft (24), a magnet holder (14a) and a plurality of permanent magnets (20). The permanent magnets (20) are configured to interact with the cyclically energized electro-magnets (12a) to cause pulsating magnetic field between the stator (12) and the rotor (14) to cause angular movement of the rotor (14) relative to the stator (12). The magnet holder (14a) includes a strip (15) of vibration damping material secured thereto along an outer periphery thereof to change the natural frequency characteristic of the wall portion 14c is subjected to.
AXIAL FAN
Provided is an axial fan including: a rotor blade; a base portion placed on a rotation axis of the rotor blade and on a downstream side in an air-blowing direction of the rotor blade; and an outer frame portion where the rotor blade and the base portion are housed, wherein the base portion includes an inclined portion in an end portion, on the downstream side in the air-blowing direction, of the base portion, the inclined portion reducing in diameter toward the downstream side in the air-blowing direction, the inclined portion includes opening portions and hollow ribs, the opening portions are placed at predetermined intervals in a peripheral direction of the inclined portion, and each of the hollow ribs surrounds a peripheral part on an outer side of each of the opening portions, sticking out from the inclined portion toward the downstream side in the air-blowing direction along the rotation axis.
Centrifugal fan
A centrifugal fan including an impeller housing and an impeller. The impeller housing has an accommodation space, an air inlet and an air outlet. The air inlet and the air outlet are connected to the accommodation space. The impeller is located in the accommodation space. The impeller includes a hub, a plurality of blades, and at least one heat conductive annular portion. The hub is rotatably disposed in the impeller housing. The plurality of blades are connected to an outer circumferential surface of the hub. The at least one heat conductive annular portion is connected to the plurality of blades.
Ceiling fan
A ceiling fan including a retention system and method of redundantly retaining a ceiling fan can include a ceiling fan motor assembly including a hollow motor shaft at least partially surrounded by a motor housing. A retainer plate is provided at the bottom of the motor housing including an opening. A retainer rod extends through the opening in the retainer plate and secures to the retainer plate. A support cable couples to the retainer rod to suspend the retainer plate from a structure, wherein the retainer plate is configured to redundantly retainer the ceiling fan.
BLOWER APPARATUS
This blower apparatus includes an air blowing portion, a motor portion, and a housing. The housing includes an air inlet and an air outlet. The air blowing portion includes a plurality of flat plates arranged with an axial gap defined between adjacent ones of the flat plates; and a spacer arranged between the flat plates. A rotating portion of the motor portion includes a hub including a flat plate holding portion arranged to hold at least one of the flat plates. An air flow is generated between the flat plates by viscous drag of surfaces of the flat plates and a centrifugal force. With the spacer being arranged between the flat plates, the axial gap can be adjusted. Since at least one of the flat plates is held by the flat plate holding portion, the air blowing portion is able to stably rotate.
Fan having an external rotor motor and cooling duct for cooling the motor electronics and motor drive components
A fan has an external rotor motor with a motor section and an electronics section. The motor section and the electronics section are arranged axially adjacent to each other along the axis of rotation. The fan, when operated as intended, generates, via the fan wheel, a pressure difference between its suction side, which is preferably associated with the rotor, and its pressure side, which is preferably associated with the motor electronics. A continuous cooling duct runs within the external rotor motor from a pressure-side inflow opening, at least along sections of the rotor, to a suction-side outflow opening. An exclusively passive cooling air flow through the cooling duct can be generated in operation by the pressure difference generated by the fan wheel.
