Motor assembly and method for manufacturing the same
A motor assembly includes a rolling bearing installed on a rotation shaft between an impeller and a rotor to support a first support of the rotation shaft, and a motor housing having a stator. The motor housing has a gas bearing bracket for accommodating a second support of the rotation shaft disposed at a side opposite to the first support with respect to the rotor. The motor assembly includes a gas bearing assembly in the gas bearing bracket to support rotation of the second support of the rotation shaft. The gas bearing assembly includes a gas bearing for surrounding the second support. The gas bearing is spaced apart from the second support of the rotation shaft to define a gap therebetween when the rotation shaft rotates. The gas bearing assembly includes an elastic member interposed between the gas bearing bracket and the gas bearing to elastically support the gas bearing.
TURBO CHILLER
A turbo chiller that has an oil-free configuration, which reduces the frequency of maintenance and maintenance-induced release of refrigerant, and can achieve a reduced environmental impact by utilizing the characteristics of the low-pressure refrigerant R1233zd(E) that reaches negative pressure at a saturation temperature of 18° C. or lower. The turbo chiller comprises a refrigeration cycle that includes a turbo compressor, a condenser, a decompression device, and an evaporator connected in sequence via piping and is filled with a refrigerant; wherein the refrigerant is a low-pressure refrigerant R1233zd(E) refrigerant with low global warming potential and low ozone depletion potential; the turbo compressor has a direct drive configuration in which a rotating shaft of impellers is directly joined to a motor; and the rotating shaft is supported by magnetic bearings.
Two hybrid ball bearings and a compressor bearing arrangement
Two hybrid ball bearings and a compressor bearing arrangement with two hybrid ball bearings for a rotatable support of a rotor of the compressor versus a stator of the compressor. The two hybrid ball bearings are arranged face-to-face or back-to-back, are configured with an optimal axial clearance depending on the inner diameter of a ring-shaped inner raceway element one of the hybrid ball bearings respectively a pitch diameter of one of the two hybrid ball bearings for a long bearing life in connection with an optimal compressor operating performance.
Motor having shock-proof design
A motor includes a shaft, a shell, a sleeve, an abrasion-resistance piece, a bearing, an oil seal, and several compressed springs. The shaft has an axial line. The shell is connected to the shaft. The sleeve has an accommodating space, and the wall of the accommodating space forms a first inclined surface which is inclined at an angle with respect to the axial line. The abrasion-resistance piece is disposed at the bottom of the accommodating space. The bearing is disposed in the accommodating space, and the outer wall of the bearing forms a second inclined surface corresponding to the first inclined surface. The shaft passes through the bearing and abuts the abrasion-resistance piece. The oil seal is affixed to the wall of the accommodating space and covers the bearing. The compressed springs are connected between the oil seal and the bearing.

Method for forming components using additive manufacturing and re-melt
A method of manufacturing a component includes additively manufacturing a crucible; directionally solidifying a metal material within the crucible; and removing the crucible to reveal the component. A component for a gas turbine engine includes a directionally solidified metal material component, the directionally solidified metal material component having been additively manufactured of a metal material concurrently with a core, the metal material having been remelted and directionally solidified.
