Blade pivot of adjustable orientation and of reduced bulk for a turbomachine fan hub
A blade pivot of adjustable orientation for a turbomachine fan hub includes: a block having a retaining device configured to retain a fan blade root and a coupling device for the transmission of a torque; a ball type rolling bearing for taking up centrifugal forces having an inner ring; a clamping nut screwed onto an external thread of the block in order to clamp the inner ring of the ball type rolling bearing for taking up centrifugal forces to the block; a rolling bearing for taking up transverse forces; a pitch setting transmission ring positioned inside the inner radial end of the block and equipped with a coupling device cooperating with the coupling device of the block, and a device for locking the pitch setting transmission ring on the block.
Ceiling fan bearing system
A ceiling fan mount assembly having a downrod assembly with a downrod and a motor assembly comprising motor and including a motor shaft. The ceiling fan mount assembly further includes a downrod plate coupled to the downrod and a shaft coupler coupled to the motor shaft and coupled to the downrod plate, whereby coupling the downrod plate to the shaft coupler suspends the motor from the downrod.
TWO-WAY FLOW CONTROL DEVICE, ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A two-way flow control device including: a housing defining a first opening interface and a second opening interface, a rotor having a plurality of blades, each blade controllable to be angled in a range of positive and negative blade angles to generate respective positive and negative flows between the first opening interface and the second opening interface, first stator vanes mounted to the housing between the blades and the first opening interface, each including a respective stator vane slope having a stator vane angle which are collectively positive or negative angled; second stator vanes mounted to the housing between the blades and the second opening interface, each including a respective stator vane slope having a stator vane angle which are collectively opposite angled to the stator vane angles of the first stator vanes, the second stator vanes mounted to be circumferentially offset with respect to the first stator vanes.

Fan wheel
A fan wheel with a hub is centrally supported with respect to a drive and coaxially rotatable with the hub between stops relative to the hub. The fan wheel having fan blades extending radially from the hub are rotatable about their axes in a range delimited by the stops. Overlaying the rotational support between the stops of the hub, a rotational support between the hub and the drive is provided including a planetary drive in operative arrangement with an adjustment control ring of the driven hub. The fan blades are rotatable in the hub about their blade axes, and adjustment of the blade angles of the fan blades via drive connections to the adjustment control ring, which connections operate in a manner superimposed on one another starting from the drive of the fan wheel.

Actuated blade-pitch change mechanisms
A blade-pitch change mechanism includes a motor comprising a rotating motor shaft and a housing, a solenoid coupled to a first end of the rotating motor shaft and to the housing, and a hub coupled with a second end of the rotating motor shaft. The hub includes a cylindrical puck having formed therein a gated castellated groove and connected to the second end of the rotating motor shaft and a cylindrical blade-pitch hub selectively couplable with the cylindrical puck via a plurality of drive pins and having formed therein a blade-pitch adjustment groove.
CEILING FAN HAVING A DUAL REDUNDANT MOTOR MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A ceiling fan having a dual redundant motor mounting assembly for suspending a motor comprising a downrod, a hollow motor shaft suspending the motor from the downrod, a retaining pin extending through the hollow motor shaft, and a retaining rod coupled to the retainer pin for redundantly suspending the motor.
OUTLET GUIDE VANE
An unducted single fan engine includes a housing having one or more fan blades coupled to the housing and configured to rotate circumferentially. The engine has one or more outlet guide vanes coupled to the housing. Each of the one or more guide vanes has a leading edge portion having a variable leading edge. The engine has one or more actuation devices coupled to each of the one or more outlet guide vanes. The one or more actuation devices are configured to control the variable leading edge of the respective outlet guide vane. The variable leading edge is controllable to vary the pitch, camber, lean angle, or sweep of the respective outlet guide vane.
