Engine
Embodiments are directed toward an engine. In some embodiments, the engine includes a water pump and a balancer shaft. In some embodiments, the water pump has a plain bearing. In some embodiments, plain bearing is supplied with pressurized oil. In some embodiments, the balancer shaft drives the water pump as well as cam shafts.
Debris exclusion seal guard for a pump
An example hydraulic pump comprises: a housing; an input shaft extending from the housing; a seal disposed within the housing and positioned about the input shaft; and a seal guard member positioned about the input shaft and mounted to the housing at an interface between the input shaft and the housing, wherein the seal guard member is configured to allow rotation of the input shaft without rotating therewith.
Motor vehicle pump arrangement and mounting arrangement for a motor vehicle pump arrangement
A motor vehicle pump arrangement includes a pumping unit and a mounting arrangement. The pumping unit has a substantially cylindrical pumping unit housing and at least one support protrusion which radially protrudes from the pumping unit housing. The mounting arrangement mounts the pumping unit to a motor vehicle mounting structure corresponding thereto. The mounting arrangement has a ring-shaped pump support body. The pump support body radially surrounds and supports the pumping unit and is attachable to the motor vehicle mounting structure. An axial side of the pump support body includes a castellated structure having axially extending merlons and protrusion receptacles. One protrusion receptacle is arranged between two adjacent merlons. The support protrusion engages with at least one of the protrusion receptacles.
Tensioned rotor shaft for molten metal
A vertical member, which is preferably a support post used in a molten metal pump, includes a ceramic tube and tensioning structures to add a compressive load to the tube along its longitudinal axis. This makes the tube less prone to breakage. A device, such as a pump, used in a molten metal bath includes one or more of such vertical members.
LIQUID CIRCULATOR
A circulator is described that is configured to circulate liquids such as water, chemical mixtures, suspensions and the like. The circulator has an oscillation shaft disposed within, for example concentrically disposed within, a support tube that is used to mount the circulator to a support structure. Locating the oscillation shaft within the support tube makes the circulator more compact, achieves better alignment of the oscillation shaft and the support tube, and makes the circulator stronger compared to a circulator where the oscillation shaft is not disposed within a support tube. In one embodiment, the circulator can be used to create a continuous flow of water in a body of water including around marinas, areas around docks, and waterfronts.
HOT-SWAPPABLE PUMP UNIT AND COOLANT DISTRIBUTION UNIT USING SAME
A hot-swappable pump unit (HSPU) and a coolant distribution unit (CDU) using the same are disclosed. The HSPU is connected to a loop inlet element, a loop outlet element and a fixed component of CDU along a matching direction. The HSPU includes a housing, a pump, a pump inlet element, a pump outlet element and a fastening component. The pump inlet element is in communication with the pump by passing through a first lateral wall of the housing. The pump outlet element is in communication with the pump by passing through the first lateral wall. The fastening component is arranged on the housing and configured to engage with the fixed component, to drive the hosing to move along the matching direction. Whereby, the pump inlet element and the loop outlet element are matched and connected, and the pump outlet element and the loop inlet element are matched and connected.
Exercise Machine Retrofit with the Capacity to Pump Fluid
A mechanism for modifying existing exercise machines to enable them to move fluid in addition to providing variable resistance to the operator. This may include at least one original equipment manufacturer (OEM) pull, push, or rotational motion exercise machine and the described retrofit system and method to allow for fluid pumping.
Motor vehicle pump arrangement and mounting arrangement for a motor vehicle pump arrangement
A motor vehicle pump arrangement includes a pumping unit having engagement steps, and a mounting arrangement which mounts the pumping unit to a motor vehicle mounting structure which corresponds to the pumping unit. The mounting arrangement includes a vibration-decoupling body having a ring shape, and a clip retainer which is attached to the vibration-decoupling body. The vibration-decoupling body radially surrounds the pumping unit, supports the pumping unit, and is attachable to the motor vehicle mounting structure. The clip retainer axially retains the pumping unit. The clip retainer includes a retainer frame which extends in a transversal pumping unit plane and which is axially supported by the vibration-decoupling body, and retainer arms which axially project from the retainer frame. Each of the retainer arms engages a respective one of the corresponding engagement steps of the pumping unit so as to axially retain the pumping unit.
MANUAL-AUTOMATIC INTEGRATED SELF-ADAPTIVE PUMP WITH INFRARED WATER LEVEL DETECTION FUNCTION
The present application discloses a manual-automatic integrated self-adaptive pump with an infrared water level detection function, which comprises a pump housing, a water pumping assembly, a base, a vacuum cofferdam, a water outlet pipeline, a volute, an exhaust port, a sensor adjusting mechanism and an infrared liquid level sensing assembly. In this way, the manual-automatic integrated self-adaptive pump with the infrared water level detection function provided by the present application has a compact structure, can be easily installed, has strong adaptability, can realize manual and automatic free switching, can realize more accurate detection of remaining water level, has a longer service life, and can solve the problem of sensing the water level in the field.
CYLINDER HEAD INCLUDING A CAST-IN WATER PUMP AND INTEGRATED THERMOSTAT
An internal combustion engine is provided, including at least one cylinder head including a water pump that is cast into the cylinder head housing.
