A tapered roller bearing (31a) has a plurality of retainer segments (11a, 11d) each having a pocket to house a tapered roller (34a), and arranged so as to be continuously lined with each other in a circumferential direction between an outer ring (32a) and an inner ring (33a). The retainer segment (11a, 11d) is formed of a resin containing a filler material to lower a thermal linear expansion coefficient. In addition, a clearance (39a) is provided between the first retainer segment (11a) and the last retainer segment (11d) after the plurality of retainer segments (11a, 11d) have been arranged in the circumferential direction without providing any clearance. Here a circumferential range (R) of the clearance (39a) is larger than 0.075% of a circumference of a circle passing through a center of the retainer segment (11a, 11d) and smaller than 0.12% thereof at room temperature.
Rotary connection for a rotor blade of a wind turbine

The rotary connection according contains an outer ring and an inner ring. The inner ring has a contact surface in the direction of the rotor blade and a screw fixing surface in the direction of the rotor hub. The contact surface and the screw fixing surface are arranged parallel to each other and provided with passage holes, which each have a central axis. Rolling elements are arranged in at least two running rows located under each other between the outer ring and the inner ring, wherein the rolling elements each have a rolling element diameter. According to the invention, at least the lower running row is arranged with its rolling element centre underneath the screw fixing surface.
ARRANGEMENT FOR A DUAL ROTOR LOW SPEED WIND TURBINE
A wind turbine includes a frame having a generally elongated shape, the frame having a first rotor support and a second rotor support, a rotor rotatably mounted to the frame between the first rotor support and the second rotor report, that, when mounted, a centerline of the rotor mounted has an angle relative to horizontal between approximately 30 and 60 degrees, and at least one blade coupled to the rotor.
Waterpower Stream Amplifier Device
The present invention relates to a waterpower stream amplifier device primarily comprised of a body with an outer surface further comprised of at least one exterior protrusion and an interior surface further comprised of at least one angular flow director. The device can be placed/combined with the rotor of an underwater hydroelectric turbine in order to concentrate and multiple the energy of the water stream entering the turbine. The at least one angular flower director of the interior surface, the at least one exterior protrusions and at least one longitudinal opening of the outer surface allows water to enter the interior surface of the body from all directions. As a result, a rotating water vortex is created within the interior surface as the water travels from the first end towards the second end.
Wind turbine, rotor system, and method for using a wind turbine
A wind turbine may include a rotor hub, a blade bearing, a rotor blade, and a conical rotor-hub extension disposed between the rotor hub and the blade bearing. The conical rotor-hub extension may have a first diameter on a first side that is directed toward the blade bearing and a second diameter on a second side that is directed toward the rotor hub. The first diameter may be greater than the second diameter, and the rotor blade may be connected to the blade bearing directly or indirectly. The blade bearing may comprise a first blade-bearing ring and a second blade-bearing ring, with the first blade-bearing ring being connected to the conical rotor-hub extension in a form-fitting manner, in a form- and force-fitting manner, or in a form configured as part of the conical rotor-hub extension.
Multistage Vertical Axis Wind Turbine
A multistage wind turbine or network of wind turbines with improved and optimized wind-directing, wind-shaping, and wind-power conversion features indicates that the shapes of these features directly affect the ability of the multistage wind turbine to use the power of moving air, such as wind, to spin a rotor and create torque on a rotor shaft to generate electricity. The wind-power-conversion mechanical efficiency described significantly improves upon previous designs by conversion of wind energy into electrical power at a superior price-to-performance ratio compared with existing alternative energy technologies.
SELF-POWERED REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SMART VALVE
The present invention relates to a self-powered remote control system for a smart valve, the system comprising: a smart valve for regulating the flow of a fluid in a pipe; a sensing module for sensing the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the fluid in the pipe; a power generation module for generating power according to the flow of the fluid; a control module for controlling the lifting or lowering of the opening/closing plate of the smart valve according to the flow rate, pressure, or temperature state sensed by the sensing module; and an administrator terminal for transmitting and receiving control signals to and from the control module, wherein the power generation module comprises: a conical fluid guide member provided in a direction in which the fluid is supplied; and a rotating member rotated by the fluid guided through the fluid guide member, whereby the operation of the smart valve can be controlled by manipulating the administrator terminal at a remote location, so as to supply the fluid into the pipe or intercept the supply of the fluid into the pipe.
