A stator wheel for a turbomachine turbine. This wheel includes an inner shroud formed by an upstream portion and a downstream portion configured to be assembled with the blades by axial translation in a respective direction.
Airfoil having a spline fillet
An airfoil for a gas turbine engine, which has an airfoil body extending in a spanwise direction and in a chordwise direction, a platform located at an inner end and/or an outer end of the airfoil body, and a fillet at a junction between the airfoil body and the platform. The fillet has a radius distribution at a given chordwise location, the radius distribution varying from the platform to the airfoil body in the spanwise direction. The radius distribution defines a local minimum, the radius of the fillet at the given chordwise location increasing from the local minimum along the spanwise direction toward both of the airfoil and the platform. A local maximum of the radius distribution is offset from the local minimum along the spanwise direction, the radius decreasing from the local maximum along the spanwise direction toward both of the airfoil and the platform.
Turbine blade airfoil profile
A turbine blade for a gas turbine engine has an airfoil including leading and trailing edges joined by spaced-apart pressure and suction sides to provide an external airfoil surface extending from a platform in a spanwise direction to a tip. The external airfoil surface is formed in substantial conformance with multiple cross-sectional profiles of the airfoil defined by a set of Cartesian coordinates set forth in Table 1, the Cartesian coordinates provided by an axial coordinate scaled by a local axial chord, a circumferential coordinate scaled by a local axial chord, and a span location.
COMBUSTOR INLET MIXING SYSTEM WITH SWIRLER VANES HAVING SLOTS
A combustor inlet mixing system (10) formed from a plurality of circumferentially spaced swirler vanes (38) extending radially outward from a nozzle hub. Each of the swirler vanes (38) may have a length (62) that extends downstream along at least a portion of the combustor inlet mixing system (10), and may further have a thickness (66) that extends along a circumference of the nozzle hub. At least one of the swirler vanes (38) may further have at least one slot (42) cut entirely through the thickness (66) of a portion of the swirler vane (38). The slot (42) may separate the swirler vane (38) from the nozzle hub along a portion of the length (62) of the swirler vane (38).
TURBINE ENGINE WHEEL
The invention relates to a wheel of a turbine engine comprising a plurality of radially extending vanes, one radially internal or external end of which is connected to an annular platform carrying annular lips (42, 44) extending from said platform in a direction opposite the vane in order to sealingly cooperate with a radially facing abradable material (28). According to the invention, the wheel comprises at least one lip (42, 44) having a concave curved upstream face and a convex curved downstream face or having a convex curved upstream face and a concave curved downstream face.
FITTED PLATFORM FOR A TURBINE ENGINE FAN, AND A METHOD OF FABRICATING IT
The invention provides a fitted platform (1) for positioning between two adjacent blades of an aviation turbine engine fan, said platform comprising a flow passage wall (10) made of composite material having a central portion (16) and first and second margins (18) each extending in a longitudinal direction of said wall, each margin extending over a determined distance (D) from the central portion (16) in a transverse direction of said wall, said flow passage wall comprising fiber reinforcement densified by a matrix, the platform being characterized in that the fiber reinforcement present in the central portion (16) presents three-dimensional weaving, and in that the fiber reinforcement present in the first and second margins (18) presents two-dimensional weaving, at least in part. The invention also provides a fan module, a turbine engine, and a method of fabricating such a platform.
TURBINE SECTION WITH CERAMIC SUPPORT RINGS AND CERAMIC VANE ARC SEGMENTS
A gas turbine engine includes a turbine section disposed about an engine axis. The turbine section includes inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings that define a gaspath there between. Each of the inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings is monolithic and continuous. Ceramic vane arc segments are disposed in the gaspath and supported by the inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings. Each of the ceramic vane arc segments includes inner and outer platforms and an airfoil section there between. At least one retainer engages the inner or outer diameter ceramic support ring with the ceramic vane arc segments to retain the ceramic vane arc segments between the inner and outer diameter ceramic support rings.
Vibration damping device for blade of rotating machine and rotating machine including the same
A vibration damping device according to an embodiment is a vibration damping device for a blade of a rotating machine, which includes at least one housing configured to be containable in a cavity formed under a platform of the blade, and to be detachable from the blade, and an attenuation material disposed in a vibration damping space formed inside the housing.
BLADE REPAIR METHOD, BLADE, AND GAS TURBINE
This blade repair method has: a first welding step in which overlay welding in which a first welding material is used is performed to form a notched part and a bury a first region positioned on a blade-body side with a first welding material; and a second welding step in which, after the first welding step, overlay welding in which a second welding material is used is performed to form a notched part and bury a second region positioned on a front-surface side of a platform with the second welding material. The high-temperature strength of the second welding material is higher than the high-temperature strength of the first welding material, the weldability of the first welding material is higher than the weldability of the second welding material, and the second region is located in a range from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm (inclusive) from the front surface of the platform toward the blade body.
