A diffuser may comprise an inlet and an outlet. The inlet may comprise an arcuate shape. The outlet may comprise an annular shape. The diffuser may transition from the arcuate shape at the inlet to the annular shape at the outlet. The diffuser may comprise a radially inner wall and a radially outer wall disposed opposite the radially inner wall. The radially inner wall and the radially outer wall may partially define a duct.
System and method for drug detection in exhaled breath
A portable system is disclosed for collecting a sample from exhaled breath of a subject. Drug substance in the exhaled breath are detected or determined. The sample is collected for further analysis using mass-spectroscopy. The system comprises a sampling unit and a housing arranged to hold the sampling unit, the sampling unit is adapted to collect non-volatile and volatile compounds of the at least one drug substance from the exhaled breath from the subject. The housing has at least one inlet for the subject to exhale into the housing to the sampling unit and at least one outlet for the exhaled breath to exit through.
SOUND ABSORPTION DEVICE, HEAT DISSIPATION DEVICE AND SERVER CHASSIS
The present application discloses a sound absorbing device to be placed in an airflow that is in a first direction. The sound absorbing device includes a housing; a plurality of sound absorbing units disposed in the housing to be passed by the airflow, the plurality of sound absorbing units being arranged in a direction perpendicular to the first direction, any two adjacent sound absorbing units being separated by a gap; and a plurality of supports fixed in the housing. The plurality of sound absorbing units are fixed to the housing through the plurality of supports.
Frame for a heat engine
A turbo machine including a plenum is formed within a double wall structure including an opening configured to provide fluid communication of a first flow of fluid between the plenum through the double wall structure, and an outer wall forming a passage configured to receive a second flow of fluid separate from the first flow of fluid, wherein a flowpath structure is formed at least in part within an inner wall, the flowpath structure configured to receive a third flow of fluid therethrough, the third flow of fluid separate from the first flow of fluid, the flowpath structure comprising an exit opening configured to provide fluid communication from the flowpath structure to the flowpath.
Fan and intake grid for a fan
Disclosed fans include an impeller and a guide device. The impeller is configured to generate an air flow path having an upstream direction and a downstream direction, and the guide device is positioned in the flow path located on an upstream side of the impeller. The guide device is configured as an intake grid having flat webs having branches and node points, and the webs form a plurality of flow channels configured as grid cells. The webs extend either between two branches or between one branch and a border area and each branch may include three webs that meet. In one configuration, flow channels include channels having a honeycomb cross section. In other example, flow channels may have a rectangular, pentagonal, and/or hexagonal shape. The fan further includes an inlet nozzle having an inlet area, and the guide device is located upstream from the inlet area of the inlet nozzle.
